About Me

I have been working as a Childminder since 2011.
Reference available upon request.
I am from Taiwan, I speak Chinese ,Taiwanese and English .
I had experience of working with children in a kindergarten and a language school in Taiwan before I came to Cambridge.
I have studied Childhood Education for 3 years in vocational college in Taiwan .
I completed NVQ L2 in Children's care, learning and development in 2008 while I was working a children centre as a creche worker. I also received a unit certificate of the L3 homebase children setting.

I am a loving kind mother with loads of energy and very much enjoy being around children. We do a lot singing, read books, physical play , go to the local library,shops,playgroups, park and visit garden centers .
I am ofsted register childminder and nanny.

My Experience

Working in a kindergarten and after school club. I helped children to interest in English, singing songs and reading stories to children in Taiwan.
Working in a children centre as a crèche worker and a pre school assistant in Cambridge. My job have involve supporting their learning, supervising their play and lunch cover.

My Qualifications

NVQ L2 Children's care, learning and development.
L3 Understand how to set up a home-based Childcare service
First aid.

Amazing childminder!!

We cannot recommend Nancy highly enough. Our two children have been with her for over two years, and she has been an incredibly important part of our family during that time.

Nancy provides such a caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment, with a wonderful range of activities for the children. Our children have loved everything from trips to the allotment to water plants and learn about nature, to arts and crafts and other creative activities. Every day brings something new and exciting.

She has always gone above and beyond in every aspect of her role. She has supported us through important milestones such as potty training, attended our children's birthday parties, and genuinely cares about the children she looks after. Her flexibility has also been invaluable, often accommodating extra days when we've needed them.

Communication is excellent, and we always love receiving photos and updates at the end of the day, which gives us a real insight into what the children have been doing and the fun they've had.

Most importantly, our children have been happy, settled, and loved in her care. It is clear that childcare is not just a job for Nancy – she truly invests in every child she looks after and treats them as individuals.

We are moving away and are incredibly sad that we won't be with Nancy anymore. We feel very lucky to have found her and will always be grateful for the care, support, and kindness she has shown our family. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional childminder.
