About Me
Hi,
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, gaining 'Outstanding' at my last three inspections. I live with my husband and have two grown up children. I work alongside my daughter. We have 2 dogs, cats and chickens.
I have nearly 30 years of experience but always willing to learn more.
I offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and develop their individuality. I make full use of all the local facilities, we try to get out each day - soft play, park, library, woods, childrens centre, local attractions, swimming as well as my large safe secure garden where we can feed the chickens, plant vegetables, or play on the swings.
I have attended many courses over the years and willing to undertake any further training as necessary.

My Experience
Nearly 30 years of experience with working with children, not only as a childminder but previously as playleader.
I have a large indoor play area where cooking, crafts, painting, messy play, stories etc take place.
I have a very large garden which is safe in all areas. A decked area for riding bikes, trikes, playhouse, water and sand play. Then there are other areas for playing football, trampoline, swings and more energetic games. As well as the vegetable garden and polytunnel for other activites. Love getting out and using local environment.
I provide meals, many using fresh produce straight from the garden.
We are all CRB checked.

NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education
First Aid
Food hygiene
Safe Guarding Children
EYFS - many courses
This years courses - Tresure basket and heuristic play, inculsion conference, community network, mark making, letters and sounds
Willing to under take training as necessary
My Availability
Usually hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6pm but willing discuss other hours outside of these.
