About Me

I'm Louise and I'm a registered childminder. So is my Mum, Angela. We work together at my Mum's home as Parkdale Childcare, offering day care for children from six weeks to twelve years.

I have a four year old daughter who is due to start school this year.

My Mum's house is situated far back from the main road with off-road private parking. We have a large back garden with lots of resources. The children love being outdoors and so do we! Alot of our time is spent out and about exploring local woodlands, castles, beaches and other places that the children love.

We currently collect from Cargenbridge Primary School and Troqueer Primary School. It may be possible for us to collect from other local schools and nurseries.

My Experience

I have worked in local nurseries, both private sector and local authority run. I have also cared for children in their own homes. My Mum trained as a primary teacher and maintains an interest in child development and education.


My Qualifications

I have an HNC in Social Care and a Level 3 SVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development. The best qualification I have is being a Mum to my delightful four year old daughter. Being a parent has taught me far more than any course I have ever been on.

We both take regular advantage of training organised by the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA).

Some of the courses we have attended are :
The Solihull Approach, Paediatric First Aid, Behaviour Management, Baby Signing, Food Hygiene.

My Availability

Our business hours are 08:00 to18:00, Monday to Friday.
