About Me

I am married and live with my huband and three of our four grown up children. I offer high quality, competitivley priced, flexible childcare from my home. All children are welcomed into my warm family childcare setting. I have a large dedicated playroom within the house and a selfcontained childcare garden complete with extensive play chalet. I offer childcare for children from birth to 14 years, I am able to drop off and collect children from local schools, nurseries, playgroups and clubs. I am a member of NCMA and of the local childminding network, I attend regular childcare training and keep up to date with childcare issues. My home is situated in the centre of the small market town of Newent, it is close to, local transport links, a variety of small independant shops, the library, health centre and park.

My Experience

I have worked in education and childcare for over 25 years, in this time I have gained a wealth of experience with children from birth to 14 years.

My Qualifications

Postgraduate Certificate in Education 5-9 age range with nursery teaching speciality.
NVQ Level 3 Chlidren's Care, Learning and Development.
St John Ambulance Early Years First Aid.
Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene with Credit.
Child Protection Awareness.
I am a member of Gloucestershires Quality Improvement Network for Childminders and hold Gold Plus Tier (accredited) status.

My Availability

My setting is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm for 48 weeks per year.
i am happy to offer chiildcare during extended hours by individual arrangement.

My Fees

Fees vary from £2.50 per hour to £3.75 per hour depending on the age of the child and attendance times.
