About Me
Safehands Childminders are situated at the top end of Padiham about 2 minutes from junction 8, M65
I am an OFSTED registered childminder who looks after children in my own home. I offer Free funding places. I believe all children deserve to be cared for in a safe friendly environment enabling them to develop and grow throughout their childhood.
Sessions are planned each week to enable children to grow and experience a wide range of activities. As fans of the outdoors we plan daily outings and these include walks to parks, Local woodland, Nature trails and other local areas. We visit playgroups, Libraries, shops,indoor soft play areas and other local excursions. Longer outings are planned for special occasions.
After School and Holiday care may be available (pls enq) We also my be able to offer pick up and drop off again this may be subject to availability (pls enq)

I have 21 years of hands on experience of looking after children.
My Qualifications
We have been on all the required courses for childminders and are looking to continually improve and develop where possible.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm (this may be flexible (pls enq)

I would highly recommend Safehands child minders ...My two little boys were minded by them and they loved it, especially all the outings and adventures they went on.. Great stuff.
They had a head start in learning too with all the activities they did by playing whilst learning.

Overall
My son has been attending Safehands childminders for six weeks now and the progress he has made has been amazing. His confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. The setting is warm and friendly and full of toys. He always has a fun filled day with regular trips out and activities. I'm always kept at ease by them and fully informed of what he's been doing that day. Was unsure about putting him with a childminder full time but made the right decision choosing Safehands.
