About Me

I am British but grew up traveling with my family around England, Canada and America which caused me to learn to quickly adapt to different cultures and learn to be flexible with schedules etc. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things where ever I am.

I am an organised, enthusiastic, creative and reliable nanny who really enjoys working with children and arranging stimulating activities that help their holistic development. I absolutely love finding creative ways to use everyday life experiences and play as a fun opportunity for the kids to learn. Growing up I still remember key people who invested time and care into my life and helped me pursue my dreams; they have inspired me to also do the same!

My Experience

From 2018- 2019 I started ad hoc babysitting, primarily on weekends and evenings.

In 2016 and 2017 I cared for a 2 year old on a part time basis. This included picking him up from nursery, play time, cooking and helping with bed times.

From Feburary 2016 until August 2016, I worked at a nursery setting in South West London three days a week caring for children between one and three years of age. I started university at the end of September and now need work that fits in with my studies.

From August 2014 until February 2016 I worked as an Au-Pair in the USA caring full time for two boys, aged 1 1/2 and 3 1/2. It was a great experience particularly as the youngest was only four months when I started and nearly two years old by the time I left. I saw both the boys develop and reach major milestones.

From April 2014 until July 2014 I was a live in nanny for a family in Kensington/Notting Hill Gate area. I cared for a little 2 year old boy and also occasionally helped care for his newborn twin siblings.

January 2014 until April 2014 – Temporary nanny jobs which included the following:

1. Stepping in as a full time nanny for 2.5 weeks (50 hrs per week) due to a family whose current nanny was sick in hospital
2 .Ad hoc/babysitting for families in my local area in London
3. A regular Saturday job helping two Italian boys learn English
4. Looking after twin 18 month old girls full time
5. Cortina, Italy, for just over 2 weeks with another Italian family helping their children with homework as well as helping them advance in their English

Whilst traveling in America, I was a voluntary night nanny four nights a week for a 6 year old boy. I also took time to get to know him in the day and did other occasional babysitting for him and other parents in the community.

I spent the summer of 2013 nannying three days a week for twin girls (age one) until they were able to attend a nursery in September. This included: feeding, bathing, arranging stimulating learning activities and outings, play groups, bed time routines as well as keeping the girls nursery and play areas tidy. I have had the pleasure of helping them in their development particularly with learning to walk and talk.

I have experience in Sticky Fingers Nursery where I volunteered for children between the ages of about five months to five years of age. During this time I became really keen on children learning through play and also became very familiar with the EYFS curriculum. I spent a lot of time helping with feeding and sleeping routines, resolving conflicts, risk assessments, observations, and planning age appropriate activities.

I've spent many years babysitting (2006-present). I've done occasional live-in weekend/week nanny work for a family with four children (two boys and two girls), volunteered in many play-groups as well as helping with Sunday school in my local church.

Kezia has been working with us for a year and a half, taking care of our now 3 1/2 year old son on a regular basis: picking him up from school, cooking him dinner, giving him his bath and getting him ready for bed. She is a great sitter, is very responsible and hard-working. She obviously loves children and my son adores her. I would highly recommend her.

Kezia worked for us full-time for ca 1 month, looking after our 20 months old twin girls. Kezia took to them instantly and we found her to be very reliable and caring. She takes safety and hygiene very seriously.

Kezia is also very creative and she interacted the girls with different activities every day. Whenever she was with the girls throughout the day, Kezia was very committed to them and one could tell she loves her job as a nanny.

We fully trusted her taking our kids out on her own and we feel that she will be a great nanny for any family lucky enough to employ her.

Kezia stepped in to help us with a temporary childcare emergency in January this year. Our regular nanny was ill and she worked for us for 2.5 weeks, looking after my son, 6, and daughter 3.

I found Kezia to be an exceptional nanny, really natural with the children who took to her instantly. She was very creative with them, and most days I came home to find them all happily absorbed in some fun activity, quite often dreaming up complicated Lego creations!

She was a real pleasure to work with and adapted remarkably well to the family in a very short space of time. I think that anyone who had her as their nanny would be very lucky indeed.

Zia worked for me at our Baby and Toddler group, Little Acorns, for 6 months whilst completing her studies in Cornwall. She also babysat regularly for my own children. During that time, she proved herself to be reliable, courteous, trustworthy and excellent with the children and parents. She has great communications skills, is fun to be around and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her wholeheartedly.

Kezia looked after our 1 year old twin girls, 3 days a week, over the summer until they were old enough to go to nursery. She's very caring & creative, making up new activities every week for them to play as well as being very attentive to the girl's needs, taking them out on play dates and to the local park. Our girls took to her very quickly and loved every moment with her.

She's great at looking after children and would look after your
children really well !
