About Me

I am OFSTED registered and have an NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in childcare and education. I am fully insured, CRB checked and a member of the NCMA. I have completed courses in Introduction to Childminding, First Aid and Safeguarding Children.
I also follow the EYFS framework.

I am married with 2 daughters and we live in the Bedwell area of stevenage close to Fairlands Valley Park. I have a full clean driving licence and keep a safe clean home and working environment.i have a cavilier King Charles puppy and 2 out door cats

I run a varied day, usually going to playgroups in the morning and activities/ arts & crafts/cooking, sports & free play at home in the afternoon. As I'm close to Fairlands park, on dry days we take a picnic lunch and either go to the sprinklers or the local park for the afternoon.
During school holidays there will be more varied trips such as Theme Parks, Farms and Museums

My fees include meals and playgroup entry fees.

My Experience

I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for 11 years.
I also have work experience in a nursery and the reception class whilst I was studying for my NVQ 2.

My Availability

I have full time/part time placements available and offer afterschool pick ups from lodge farm or camps hill school

lunch time Pick ups/ drop offs from other schools are also available.

I'm available Monday to Friday
7am to 6.30pm

Cheryl is an excellent childminder, very creative so children will never get the chance to be bored! She organises trips out for the children during school holidays which saves you feeling guilty that they are missing out. Very kind and reliable I would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone.

My daughter Morgan goes to Cheryl monday to thursdays and she loves it. I'm pleased that my daughter enjoys her time and all the activites that Cheryl dose. i couldn't of asked for anything better

Cheryl looked after my son and daughter for the last 3 to 4 years, children loved going to her and enjoyed all the trips they went on. Unfortunately had to come to an end due to them both being of school age, but was very impressed with a progress book she gave me with comments and lots of photos of what my son had experienced over the few years he had spent with her.

Thanks Cheryl for everything, any time you need a reference let me know as I would highly recommend you.
