About Me
I am a very caring, reliable and punctual nanny who has worked with children for more than 20 years. I am also a fully qualified Montessori teacher so bring a structured developmental approach when caring for young children. Until July 2023 I was an afterschool nanny to 2 French children for 3 years. When they returned to France they were 8 and 9. When they came to London in August 2020 they knew no English so being a confident French speaker I was able to settle them into their English Primary school and use my knowledge of the National Curriculum for Reception up until Year 4 to help them with reading and writing. They subsequently began to make friends easily and talk English well. I helped them with homeschooling during Lockdown at the beginning of 2021. This is the role I am looking for now as I feel I have a lot to offer to school aged children both socially and academically.
Having worked in Montessori nurseries for many years I have wide experience of caring and educating school children of all ages. I have extensive experience of playgroups, parks and childcare facilities in the Borough of Ealing as well. I was a volunteer for one year in the Reception Class at a school in Ealing. I am seeking an after school nanny/governess role which would continue with the same hours during the school holidays as I have commitments during the morning as a yoga teacher.
My Experience
I have over 20 years childcare experience of teaching and caring for children. I was a Montessori teacher for 9 years and have been a p/t nanny for 15+ years. I have excellent references and come highly recommended. Although I have worked with young children in the past I now work with the older age group as an After School nanny/Governess. I have a degree in French and Spanish, a Montessori Diploma and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum from Reception up until Year 4. |I am also a p/t yoga instructor which I do during the mornings and at weekends.
