About Me

I am a fully Ofsted registered, experienced childminder and private music tutor. I have a son (9 years) and a daughter (7 years) and a very friendly 1 year old cat.

I grew up in Buckingham and I have lived in Towcester for 3 years, on the Shires estate on the outskirts of Towcester. It is within easy reach of town and all the excellent facilities. I also have a car for school and nursery pick ups a little further afield and planned trips and outings.

My Experience

I have taught singing and piano privately to children and adults for the last 18 years. I was previously registed with Ofsted from 2005 to 2008 and looked after a variety of different children within this period. My registration lapsed because I accepted another job, I then re-registered in the latter part of 2011.

My Qualifications

I have an ICP, paediatric first aid certificate and I'm registered on the Compulsory and Voluntary part of the Childcare Register.

I also hold a grade 8 certificate in singing from the Trinity College of Music, 11 GCSEs, 3 A Levels and I'm in the process of completing a BAHons degree with the OU.

My Availability

I am available from 8am - 6pm Monday - Sunday, I am extremely flexible and can offer a tailor made childcare schedule that fits in with your family and other work and leisure commitments.

My Fees

My basic fee for childcare is £3.25 per hour, however this will vary depending on other factors such as food and drink requirements and school and club pick up and drop offs. Music tuition is also available at a negotiable rate and sibling discounts are offered.

I can also accept payment with childcare vouchers.
