About Me
Hi my name is Linda and I'm a Registered childminder in Chapeltown area S35. I have worked as a childminder for 22 years, on my last inspection I was graded a good in all areas.
The whole of the ground floor plus conservatory / playroom is used for minding which leads out onto a safe well maintained patio and garden which the children have daily use of.
Every week we do lots of fun activities, including outings to various groups e.g.
Toddler groups.
Indoor play centres.
local parks and farms. (weather permitting).
Drawing, painting, gluing, play-dough, jigsaws, building bricks, sand & water play, and many more activities are always available in my setting. All these activities will help your child's development, language and social skills.
My Experience
I have had 22 years experience as a childminder.
Before I became a childminder I worked in local playgroups.
My Qualifications
Diploma in pre-school practice.
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding Children.
Sleeping Babies
My Availability
I offer fulltime/ part time places, Monday to Thursday from 8.00am till 5.00pm.
Earlier starts and late finishes are negotiable.
I cover Lound Infant School, Lound Junior school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are £5.00 per hour. £5.50 per hour for before and after school children. There will be a minimum charge for half days.
I am registered to accept Tax-Free Childcare vouchers.

We were lucky enough to have Linda as a childminder for our 2 boys for over 6 years. She 1st started minding my eldest when he was 6 months old, then my youngest started when he was 9 month. She was always supportive while we were settling them in and treated them like part of the family.
Linda is extremely well organised, and always keeps the boys entertained with trips to play areas, parks, play groups etc. The boys loved going, made great friends there and learnt a lot. She was always flexible about arrangements when my working pattern changed and would try and accomodate us wherever possible. She is extremely reliable and has never let us down.
I couldn't recommend Linda enough, she is a great childminder who has helped us immensely over the years.
Overall
I have two children one aged 8 and one aged 3, Linda has looked after my eldest since he was 2 years old (for 6 years) and my youngest from 5 months old (3 years). My children are and have always been so happy there and have loved the types of activities they do. Linda has always taken them out to parks, play centres and other places that keep them busy and happy. Not only do they enjoy it but they feel like part of the family there. Linda also has friends that child mind so there are other children for them to mix with which helps them integrate with other children.
Linda's home is also a great place for them to play and she makes sure they are always occupied. Linda has also helped with educating them both by teaching them things like colours, shapes, numbers, learning them to write helping to get them out of nappies and toilet training etc in fact i think Linda started them with all these things before I had even thought about it which was brilliant! She has really brought them on before they started nursery and they love her.
Overall I would highly recommend Linda to anyone and would be happy to discuss any questions anyone would have about her childcare.
