About Me
Hi, I have been a childminder since 2009 and love the job as I did in the beginning. I have three children of my own ranging in ages. I am married to Darren, who is also registered as my assistant. He helps me out doing nursery runs etc and my minded kids love him, I think he's more of a kid himself!
I also have a dog called Coco. The kids love being around my dog and he loves them. They know to be gentle, he is a gentle giant too, moves out the way when he's had enough. The dog is never left alone with the children and only in the childminding room when it is quieter.
I believe children should be cared for in a clean, loving, family environment so they can develop and learn through play.

My Experience
As a mother of three and a childminder since 2009, I have vast experience of caring for children of different ages and developments.
As a registered childminder my premises are checked regularly by Care Inspectorate and must comply with regulations. All my inspections can be seen on their website or on my own website. I have my public liability insurance with Scottish Childminding Association.
I also work to the GIFREC and SHANARRI guidelines, as well as using resources from the Care Inspectorate website.
I hold my HNC in Childhood Practice which makes me an Early Years Practitioner. I also recently passed my Level 2 in Autism training. I order to provide the best care and work to the mist up to date legislation and health and social care standards, I believe continuing my professional development is very important and is updated regularly.

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday 8.00 am until 2.00pm (although flexible if necessary)

I have a full clean licence and a 7 seater car. All insurances are up to date and can be seen on request.
