Hello!!!! My name is Mandeep, Mandy for short :-) I am a fun, caring, bubbly nanny. I enjoy all weather types, so happy to explore the outdoors, even if it is the typical rain (so used to the London weather, nothing a good old coat and wellies can't handle).
I have been brought up alongside lots of children (I have a very big family) so that's how I got my interest in Child care. I had always lived with my grandma, parents and sisters, until about 10 years ago when I got married. Many family members would always leave my cousins with my grandma so I would always help her out.
I have a lot of friends with little ones too and I love being around them and always there to give them a helping hand when needed.
I am a family girl and in my previous nanny jobs, I have always been part of the family, which made my jobs even more enjoyable.
I love taking the little ones to local play groups/nature walks/soft play/libraries/museums etc.
I have my own daughter who is 7 year olds and is an amazing help when she comes with me in the holidays- the children get more excited to see her than me.
I enjoy looking after all ages as there’s always something different that they’re learning/milestones.
My Experience
I have over 18 years worked childcare experience. I am level 3 qualified.
2005- Childcare placements (nurseries and school)- 2 years part time whilst studying my level 3 diploma at college.
2007- 2 and a half years at a nursery-1 year as a nursery nurse and 1 year and 6 months as a room leader. I was based in a room with children aged 2-3, however I covered in other rooms. The children within the nursery were aged 3months-5 years.
2011- I then went on to nannying, I was with the family for 3years and 4months and then they moved abroad.
The children were 11 months and coming up to 2 years when I started.
After 1.5 years with this family, we then decided to carry out a nanny share with a family friend, who was 3months old when I started. This was just for 3 mornings a week, while my main families children were at school/nursery. I would also help out looking after his older sibling when needed.
2014- I then went on to do a nanny share with friends of my 2012’s family. I started when they were 9months old and 11months old. And was there over 2 years.
2016- I had my daughter (who is now 7 years old)
2017- Whilst bringing my daughter with me (aged 7 months old), I started looking after 2 children aged 2 and 5 years old.
2020- I did a lot of ad hoc work due to covid, which aged from 6 months- 5 years
2021- I looked after a 1.5 year old and 5 year old.
2022- This is my current job now, which I started when the children were 2 and 4
I have looked after ages from 6 months+ in a childcare setting.
I have newborn experience from having my own daughter.
I am happy to cook meals and carry out light house work.
I like to attend local play groups, but also adventuring out if allowed with the the family.
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified. I studied Childcare at Spelthorne College, in Ashford.
I am a qualified first aider.
I have been CRB checked and have signed up to the DBS update service.
I am ofsted registered.
My Availability
I am a full time, live out nanny. I am very flexible with my hours.
