About Me
My name is Geraldene and I am married with one son and a grand daughter. I live in Llanbradach in a large detached home. I am a member of the NCMA and I am registered and inspected by the CSSIW. I have a large playroom with a variety of toys and resources and a purpose built conservatory for creative and messy play. Children have access to a secure, flat rear garden, with plenty of toys and resources.
My Experience
I have been registered as a child minder since 1995. I offer a wide variety of structured and free play activities for the development of fine and gross motor skills. Play activities and learning experiences are incorporated into everyday activities and are intended to support and stimulate the child's social, physical, intellectual communication and emotional development. Basic welsh words and songs are used.
Activities include jigsaw puzzles, books, educational toys, dressing up, role play, musical instruments, songs and rhymes, small world play, construction toys, craft, cutting and sticking, collage, play dough, cooking, sand and water play, painting, messy play......We attend child minding activity days, library, music and movement sessions, outdoor play and visits to child minding settings.
I am working towards being accredited as a Healthy Early Years Setting, which promotes healthy living in the setting and at home.

My Availability
I provide a flexible service to cater for parents working shifts and I am registered to provide overnight care. I provide full time and part time sessions.
