About Me
Hi my name is Sheila. And I have been a registered childminder since 2008. I live in Hayes in the UB3 area.
I've been working with children nearly all my life and I feel very comfortable looking after children in the comfort of my home, and I absolutely love what I do. I have excellent childcare experience in many areas and have completed many training courses to gain extra knowledge
I have been married for 40 years and have two grown up children which are aged 30+. My son, daughter and husband have all worked alongside me previously as assistant childminders, However it'll now be myself and my daughter. All members living and working on the premises have enhanced DBS checks. My husband, daughter and I have also completed first aid training.
I currently have 3 full time vacancies for under 5 year old.
We provide a good healthy balanced diet throughout the day, as well as different types of play and learning activities. For all ages.
I am also registered for funding for 2, 3, and 4 year old funding through the local government for 15 hours a week.

My Experience
I have had 30years of experience with my kids but offically i have been working with children for 15 years. This includes fostering and childmindering.

paediatric first aid course
health and safety
early years foundation/ 1,2,3
CACHE level three diploma in home based childcare
Letters and sounds with early years
member of the ncma and also having public liability insurance
Certificate of employers liability insurance
Child protection certificate
Welfare requirements meets the OFSTED SEF
NVQ level three
Ealing social services preparation group ( safe caring, managing behaviours, seperation and loss)
Advanced parenting skills
Equality and diversity tier 1, 2 and 3
Valid CRB check
Nursing and Homecare
My Availability
I am available monday-friday from 7am - 5.30pm (term-time only)
I do not do weekends.

What can I say, Sheila has brought so much happiness to our family. She has taught my son so much! My little man used to be very clingy and hated being away from me when he was 1. Sheila nurtured my little boy and he felt so comfortable going to her every morning and wanted to go in everyday! He is happy going in and happy coming out! She taught my son life skills e.g washing hands, wiping the toilet seat afterwards, tidying up toys, putting shoes away nicely etc. Sheila takes time to teach the children values and manners and helps them to become independent! Her passion for what she does shines brightly in all that she does and displays education through play beautifully. I sing her praises every where I go! She deserves a gold medal! One in a million!
