About Me
Hi I'm Stephanie I'm 32 years old,I work at Grosvenor House day nursery as a full-time senior practitioner in the tweenie room with children aged 16 months to 26 months old.
I am a qualified level 3 practitioner in with a level 3 diploma in children and young peoples work force, and also hold paediatric first aid certificate and have training in safeguarding guarding, makaton and health and safety.
At my previous job in Winchester I worked with children aged from 4months to 2years 9months at a local day nursery which I was at for 5 years.
I do have experience with children across the age ranges from working across different age rooms across the settings I've been at, working at two different after school clubs and from doing various babysitting, voluntary and paid job roles l have worked with primary school aged children so do have a wide age range experience.
I have an degree in textiles and art (Which I studied at winchester school of art part of Southampton university) so I'm not scared of messy activities, and love to encourage creative play both messy and non messy when working with children.
I'm have a level 2 in health and nutrition and level 2 certificate in basic counselling skills both courses I completed in my spare time online. Which is giving me a great insight to how we should eat as adults and as children, and is informing my own cookery and baking skills. I also I'm a fully trained massage therapist (Swedish body, indian head and baby massage).
I enjoy being outside walking (in all weathers), reading, painting, knitting, sewing, and cooking. I'm a happy and friendly person whose very caring, reliable,and a non smoker.
