About Me

I am an ofsted registered childminder in Lightwater. I have been childminding since April 2010.
I am NNEB qualified and have 15 years experience in childcare (day nurseries and as a private nanny). I am a mum to 2 beautiful daughters (aged 3 1/2 and 7 8 years).

I have a wide variety of toys suitable for all children of all ages and have a large garden with slide, trampoline, sand pit, etc. I love craft and cooking activities.
I attend local toddler groups, childrens centre, soft play, music classes, parks and meet with other childminders and nannies.
During holiday times we visit farms, zoos, etc.

My Experience

I started to work in a private day nursery in 1996 after completing my NNEB at Guildford college. I then worked for many years in day nurseries as a nursery nurse, room leader and finally nursery manager.
I then worked as a private nanny, caring for a little girl for 3 1/2 years.

My Qualifications

I am NNEB qualified, have an enhanced CRB, current first aid and food hygiene certificate. I have attended many training courses over my 15 years in childcare, which i feel is really important to enhance my knowledge in offering children the best care.

My Availability

I offer care monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.00am- 6.00pm.

At present I have 2 vacancies on a Monday and Tuesday and 1 vacancy on a Wednesday.

I currently look after children after school, picking up from briars cabin nursery, Lightwater village school and Hammond junior school.

As most of the children I care for are term time only, I am able to offer holiday cover.
