Everything you Could Wish For.

Both of my boys went to Lisa from the age of two up to school age. Lisa is the perfect combination of loving parent and supportive teacher. The boys loved being at Lisa's, as every day was exciting with a mixture of creative play + learning, interacting with other kids and fun outings. Lisa took the boys to the New Forest, Hillier Gardens, soft play and the beach or stream, not to mention all the best playgrounds in the area.

Lisa encouraged my boys to learn and build their social skills by meeting other child minders and their kids, which has helped them when moving on to school. Motor skills, words, numbers, letters and writing were all made fun with Lisa's creative and supportive ways of teaching, which have helped the boys greatly.

I believe that using a child minder like Lisa, helps your child to develop quicker than going to a nursery as there is more one on one instruction and the home environment is familiar and more comforting to the child, so they feel relaxed quicker than in a large nursery with a greater number of people, which can be daunting for some kids.

In all, if we have a terrible accident and end up with a third child, they will be going to Lisa, which speaks volumes.

Super Lisa

Lisa is a brilliant child minder she takes her role very seriously and gives great care to the children she looks after.
Our daughter quickly bonded with Lisa and grew very fond of her. She always looked forward to going to Lisa’s for fun days out and crafting activities.

Amazing Childminder

Lisa has been looking after my son Alex for nearly three and a half years since he was six months old and during that time she has been an amazing childminder. She is such a kind, warm and caring person. From very early on, Alex settled in almost instantly. Making him so welcome into her home and has made Alex feel part of the family. It made me feel so at ease being a first time mum that he was in loving safe hands.

Lisa has helped hugely in Alex's development and growth from helping him sit up and crawl, with his first steps to his potty training.

Alex loves his time with Lisa and the other children she looks after. She always organising fun activities for the kids from messy play, crafts, learning through song and dance, trips to the local playground and days out to the woods.

Alex's social skills have developed immensely through the ability to play and engage with other children which has all been down to Lisa.

Lisa constantly provides me with updates to what Alex has been up to and his progress, as well as sending me regular photos.

I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a childminder.

Perfect for your child and you!

Lisa has had our little boy since he was 6 months. Monty loves going, always excited to greet the cat and loves the forest adventures and Lisa's love of outdoors. As parents Lisa is always there to chat and ask advice and she is brilliant at it. Potty training has been a dream, with her guidance on timing being absolutely spot on. There is art, nature, numbers, letters and a loving no nonsense approach. She has been a lifesave over COVID! The idea of leaving Lisa for school is like leaving family and hopefully we can go back in holidays!! If you are lucky enough to get a space in this amazing household you are very lucky!!

Very loving and caring, one of the best there is!

I’ve spent a long time wondering just how to express my thanks to Lisa, knowing no gift or present would ever be adequate enough. Lisa has been a childminder to our daughter 3 days a week for nearly 4 years and throughout this time she has been many things to her; a mother, a guardian, a teacher, a moral guide, and also to me; an empathiser, a source of knowledge and wisdom and a good friend. Her experience and support during teething, growth spurts, chickenpox and other challenging times over the past 4 years has been invaluable and always a great comfort to know that someone else also understands our child in the same way.

Lisa’s love and nurturing of the children in her care is clearly evident by the close bonds she develops with them. It was important to us for our daughter to be looked after by someone who offers cuddles freely, is happy and open and offers the same level of care similar to that we would provide at home. Lisa does all this and so much more.

Lisa constantly demonstrates her excellent skills as a childminder: she is patient yet firm, caring and attentive, and is able to find the fun in any activity. Our daughter loved going to the park, doing messy play and attending the weekly playgroups and song time sessions with Lisa and also the day trips further afield during holiday times like the zoo and the beach. Other parents have spoken to me who have seen Lisa at playgroups and observed how attentive she is with the children in her care. Throughout the time I’ve known her, she has been constantly reliable having taken no time off sick and holidays are always planned well in advance. She is very flexible and understanding in the times when I’ve been delayed at work or stuck in traffic before afternoon pick up for which I am very grateful.

Over the years our daughter has been very happy spending time with Lisa and her family, forming a close bond with Lisa's boys, and we’ve been very fortunate to never have tears or clinging when leaving her there in the morning. It was a different story when she started pre-school!

In my opinion Lisa is an outstanding childminder and we are all very sad as our daughter has started school this September and we won’t see Lisa so often. We moved house last year which means we’ve had to find a local childminder for pre and after school however our daughter will still go to Lisa during holiday times as I know she will miss Lisa terribly. We hope our daughter will continue to see Lisa during the school holidays for many years to come.

It feels like a huge decision choosing a childminder when your baby is still so young, especially when there is little information, other than an Ofsted report, to support that decision. I found Lisa via the TVBC website and I am so grateful I did. Thank you Lisa for all your hard work but especially the love you have shown our daughter over the years. You have been incredible and I’m so glad we were given this opportunity to know you.
