About Me
I am a registered childminder with the Care Commission. I lived in the Cardonald area, in a terraced house, with my husband and grown up, son and daughter.
My Experience
I have 26 years experience as a childminder and take my responsibilities very seriously. I treat each child as an individual and together we are all one big happy family. My recent inspection has graded me the highest grading of a grade 6.
I have done my training to become a Community Childminder, also training , Early Learning childcare.
I participate with the children and their parents, to achieve the best progress and encourage many activities such as swimming, libraries, parks. I encourage the children to take turns and show each other respect. I also ensure allm the children in my care feel at home.
My Qualifications
I have SvQ2 & HNC qualification in early years and education. I have a up-to-date first aid certificate along with numerous certificates achieved,
such as Child Protection,Food & Hygiene, Tripe p - positive parenting, GIRFEC - Getting it right for every child, buiding the Ambition, Autism & ADHD and Outdoor Play and many others.

Jean has minded our two girls since last year and unfortunately due to relocating country, we are desperately sad to have to say goodbye. Jean's care for our children has been nothing short of impeccable. She provides immense care and attention to our children and gives them a real home away from home experience. Jean goes above and beyond in every aspect of her care and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Her communication with us on the children's progression in various aspects of their development has been far superior to what we could ever have imagined. Her house is always impeccably maintained and there is a fabulous atmosphere.
We have nothing but positive things to say about Jean and not only recommend her as a childminder but also an extension of your family.

Jean took care of my daughter for only a few months but during this time she has become a very close person. My daughter learned a lot and made friends. Jean is very warm and kind. Children feel great with her.

My child has been in Jeans care since she was 6 months old and I don’t think I could have found anyone better.
Jean keeps the kids active, taking them to the parks in the nicer weather and taking them to the local kid clubs. In the house there’s lots of games and crafts.
Jean and her family are very down to earth and lovely, this is the kind of environment we wanted for our child. I would happily recommend her to everyone and anyone!

Jean has been providing childcare for my daughter for over 2 years now. My daughter absolute adores her, as do I and over these 2 years Jean has became more like part of our family. My daughter is looked after by Jean 3 days a week and is always excited to go to “Jeany Beanys” house for lots of fun.
My daughter has been thriving which I can say is partly down to the care that Jean provides. Jean takes the kids out on outings regularly, and encourages lots of play with arts and crafts and story telling. My daughter has such a great bond with Jean and her lovely husband Pat, we wouldn’t change a thing.

I asked Emma what hours and days were required and the response I received unfortunately did not suit the needs of my business. I messaged Emma politely informing her of this to which I received a number of bitter messages.
I am shocked and saddened by this review and believe this is a false representation of my character and my business which I have worked extremely hard to build up over the past 23 years.
I wish Emma all the best in the future with finding a childminder
