My name is Lucinda, I am a friendly, honest and trustworthy person. I am currently working in a nursery as a Level 3 qualified room leader/senior nursery nurse.
I am a fun, loving girl who is passionate about children and their well being.
I have good ideas for activities that are fun as well as educational for your child.
I am looking to branch out and continue my career in childcare by becoming a full time nanny. I am a confident, knowledgeable worker, dedicated to creating a stimulating, encouraging, safe atmosphere for each child's individual needs. During my almost 6 years experience, I have developed strong skills in supporting young children, and am genuinely passionate about providing the best child care and play experiences. I have an excellent record of working successfully with families in different settings. I take pride in being able to handle difficult situations sympathetically but with professionalism.
I've taken many skills from working with children that I can use in other roles. Keeping records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered. Organising and participating in recreational activities. Knowledge of counselling to vulnerable children.
My Experience
I started my childcare journey completing 9 months of work experience in a local primary school where I worked with a variety of children aged 3-5.
I then worked in a day nursery as a Level 2 qualified Nursery Nurse for 1.5years, within this time completing my Level 3 .
I then moved into another nursery, where I was working as a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner.
I then got promoted at the same nursery to the Deputy Room Leader and worked there for a total of 3 years.
Then I worked for THDN in Sidcup where I was employed as a Nursery Nurse and very shortly after starting was promoted to a senior member of staff, making me in-charge of a room holding ages 2-3.
I know currently work in a primary school where I am a TA to Year 1, previously for Reception.
Over these years I have been faced with any different challenges as many different type of children. Taking on these challenges I have worked my way up within all of my job roles, making unforgettable relationships with children along the way.

Childcare Level 3 Diploma - PASS
Childcare Level 2 - GRADE B
Level 2 Health and Social Care - PASS
English - PASS
MATHS - GRADE C
ICT - GRADE C
I have also attended training courses for the following:

- Effective observation, assessment and planning, linked to the EYFS
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Understanding and Working with Challenging Behaviour
- Paediatric First Aid
- POD Radicalisation
My Availability
Full Time - Monday - Friday
I am available to contact at any time after 6:00pm on weekdays. All day on weekends.
Throughout the day during work hours may vary.
