This position was caring for two children who were aged 2 and 4 years when I started this was in their home environment. My main duties included:

I am an Assistant Guide Leader at Langley Park Guides. This involves working as part of a team to plan activities around Guide badges and themes, ensuring that the Guides have lots of fun and enjoyment whilst helping and supporting them to develop as responsible members of the community. For the past 15 years I have helped with the Brownies with children 7-10 years old recently changing to help with the older girls in the Guide unit.

I have been registered with Ofsted as a Nanny since May 2014 I was Inspected by Ofsted in May 2016 and found to be covering all aspects of the voluntary register which includes having a childcare qualification, nanny insurance (through childcare.co.uk), updated DBS (this can be viewed on request) and pediatric first aid trained

I am registered for the tax free childcare and can be paid through childcare vouchers.

Nicola supported us with childcare for two-year-old Zack.
She quickly developed a strong rapport with Zack and impressed us with her confidence and responsiveness to his needs. She brought arts and crafts activities for him, tailored to his interests and abilities. She changed his nappies, prepared his tea and tidied up afterwards.
Zack had severe eczema when Nicola started with us. Bathtime had been difficult and distressing for all of us, and Nicola was invaluable at helping Zack have fun in the water and entertained him while we applied his creams.
Zack was also still learning to walk confidently. Nicola did an amazing job building his confidence and encouraging him to use his new scooter. She took him on outings around the block and to the park to play on the swings.
She also helped Zack adapt to his new baby sister and was a wonderful support when she was born.
Nicola is a bubbly, enthusiastic and caring person. We were delighted with how she looked after Zack and would highly recommend her to other parents.

Nicola looked after our young boys full time from 2014 to 2017. She did an outstanding job and had a great relationship with our kids; always engaging them with a range of activities and getting them out of the house. She was very reliable, professional and prepared to be flexible. We have no hesitation in recommending her.

Overall
Nicola was our nanny for 5 years, looking after our 2 boys who were pre-school and primary age at the time. She went above and beyond, getting to know them, encouraging them to participate in an array of activities and helping them adapt to changes such as starting school and nursing. Nicola was extremely flexible and always put the needs of the boys first. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
