Gem and Jades Happy Days Childcare
Hello, our names are Gemma and Jade we are mother and daughter working in partnership we are fully qualified and insured childminders with paediatric first aid training. We follow all the requirements set out by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and aim to provide a high quality childminding service.
We live in a nice quiet area in Stretford/Urmston which is easily accessible by car or bus close to Moss Park, Victoria Park, St Hugh of Lincoln and St Anne’s Schools may also cover other schools please enquire. Also we both have our own transport for pickups and drop off’s with full clean driving licenses with business insurance.
We provide a pet free, fun, safe, caring, warm, fun and stimulating environment to care for children where they can play learn and enjoy themselves. We have 3 playrooms and garden area with plenty of toys and activities such as:

There are a number of different reasons why parents choose a childminding setting over other various settings. We are able to offer more variety than any other childcare environment due to it being a home-based setting. We can offer a more personal care both with the children and their families, this is integrated with outings and specialised care tailored to your childrens needs.
We are commited to aiding your child's development through different aids involving play. We are trained to help and improve childrens physical, intellectual, emotional and educational needs. We are obligated to undertake various observations and assessments of the children in our care to determine which areas of development we should be aiming to help for each individual child, all of this enables us to plan our activities wisely in order to benefit all the needs of each and every child in our setting.
My Experience
I have 10 years experience working in a children's private day nursery and I also have twins
I am Gemma and I have over 15 years experience in a nursery and I have had two children of my own

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Dependant on hours (please enquire)
We offer 15/30 hours free funded places for 2,3 & 4 year olds
We accept childcare vouchers and funding, please ask for details.

My little boy is extremely happy at Gem and Jade's he has come on leaps and bounds since being with them. I knew straight away it was the right place for him its small, friendly and home from home with lots of activities and resources. I love the daily whats app updates with pictures each day, Can't thank them enough for getting him settled so quickly and putting me at ease! Highly Reccomend

Gemma and Jade looked after my 1 year old daughter and from the get go I knew my little girl was in the safest pair of hands. They assisted bring my little girl on and helped her learn, develop and grow whilst understanding her needs and her habits. Their approach to childcare is bespoke to each child and the one on one care and my daughter received meant I could drop her off for the day and know she was in the safest pair of hands whilst o worked. The environment is clean, happy and the outdoor space allows children to roam and enjoy the outdoors! I couldn’t recommend this gem and jades happy days enough! Your child is happy and that is for sure! I am grateful to them for nurturing my little girl, I can’t recommend enough!

Such a lovely setting food is good and healthy. There is always fun and exciting activities to do. All the children seem happy with in this setting. Gemma and the girls cannot do enough for the children and are so warm and welcome into each and every child. All the children seem really happy and calm when in the setting and under Gemma and Jade's care. Highly recommend this childminders any child care needs.

My Daughter has been with Gem & Jade for nearly two years now she loves going to them. They go above and beyond for her providing lots of activities throughout her day with regular updates on how she is doing in regards to her development she has come on massivley since being with them! There setting is lovely with lots of toys and a huge garden its like a mini nursery. They have also been very flexible to accommodate my shifts each week.
I honestly cannot reccommend them enough I felt as ease straight away with them.

I highly recomend these lovely ladies, i knew within minutes of walking in on my visit that they were the right people to care for my daughter, she has now been there 3 years. Jade & gem are now like family to her she absolutly loves them & loves going & they love & care for all the children like there own. I go to work knowing my daughter is safe, happy, well fed, having loads of fun & learning new things, the progress she makes daily is amazing! the backgarden is like a miniature park with endless activities, avayah comes home everyday telling me about all the fun she's had & the new friends she makes.
They are fabulous childminders & really flexible with changing days & hours when needed.
