About Me
I am 31years old and worked as a nursery nurse which then progressed to becoming a nanny for twin boys. I am currently looking for a new family and opportunity as a full time nanny. I am a reliable and trustworthy person with experience in working with children of all ages.
Recently I have moved back to the north east to support my partner in his career working in close protection. Together we have a lovely home near the beach. I am approachable, down to earth with a good sense of humour however always provide a professional approach to my techniques.
I love music and I sing and play the piano. I have also recently started taking Spanish lessons to develop my own language skills that I can hopefully incorporate within my nannying moving forward. Families I have worked with have told me that I have a natural ability to bond with children and am very patient and calm by nature. I aim to be fun but also firm when necessary.
I am very passionate about working with children and even though having worked in other professional areas I have always reverted back to childcare as my main focus. I believe that a fun and loving environment is where a child thrives the most and I strive to achieve this in each day of my employment. Whilst safeguarding is at the forefront of what I do, I also ensure that my weekly/daily plans are filled with fun and exploration especially the outdoors and messy play.
My Experience
I started with voluntary work with children in a local pre - school and after school club. I then secured a full time role as a Nursery Assistant for one of the northeasts leading ousted outstanding childcare providers. I worked in all age tiers however predominantly I was based in the early years (12 weeks - 12 months). I then most recently worked as a sole charge full time nanny to a local family caring for their twin boys for 3.5 years. I worked with the boys from the age of 11 months up until they started full time School and still have a good relationship with them and the family.
Along side my full-time roll as a nanny I also ran a multiples play group once a week, to help the twins develop socially and so parents could share best practice and have a short well deserved break!
These Jobs have given me experience and the opportunity of working with children on wide age scale from teenagers to small babies including newborn, I can fulfil the needs of a growing family of all age groups. I can provide a CV and references on request.

My Availability
I currently work full time as a project manager. However I would like to continue with some childcare through the week and over weekends if possible.
Mon- Friday - 6:00am - 9:00am and then 16:00 - Midnight
Saturday - Sunday I have day and night availability. 06:00-Midnight
