About Me
My name is Sophie, I have been working within Early Years since 2011 and have had the opportunity to experience many different professional roles. I am currently a Deputy Manager in a local Pre-School. I live in Hampshire with my husband and two children. I have always had a growing love and passion for the Early Years, and am passionate about supporting children in learning through play and new experiences.
I am happy to carry out a range of activities and/ or routines. I am a very tidy and organised person as well as being hands on. I love trying new things and gaining new experiences and skills.
My Experience
I have vast experience working with children from 3 months to 5 years, I have also had personal experiences caring for newborn babies as well as young teenagers.
I have worked within Early Years, and the childcare sector since 2011. I have been fortunate to gain new skills and experiences within many different roles such as an Educator, Suite Leader, Early Years Coordinator, Nanny, Deputy Manager and a Nursery Manager.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 certificate and level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Young Peoples Workforce.
I have a current DBS and also have training in first aid/ epic pen, child protection, safeguarding children, food hygiene and reinforcing positive behaviour.
I have previously been OFSTED registered.
Have a full clean driving license.
