About Me
Hi my name is Lucy, I am 40 years old and I am an OFSTED graded Good registered child minder.
I provide children with a happy, safe and caring home from home environment.
I am based in Delapre NN4 just off the QE roundabout and A45 so perfect location for anyone working in the Brackmills area.
I have two beautiful children of my own and appreciate the importance of being able to leave your child with some one you can trust and where they will be safe and happy.
I am fully up to date with the EYFS framework am OFSTED registered and have a valid paediatric first aid certificate and myself and my husband are fully CRB checked.
I have a play area in my home where the children can safely play that has direct access to a large garden so perfect for sunny days.
We go on lots of outings to places such as toddler groups, music groups, soft play and the farm.
We also have a dog called Harley, he is very friendly and the children love him. My contact details can be found on the Northampton County Council website.
My Experience
I am a mum to two beautiful children my youngest is 10 I also have two grown up step sons so I have lots of experience with children from cuddly newborns right through to stroppy teenagers!!

Valid paediatric first aid certificate
Enhanced CRB check
OFSTED approved local authority training.
My Availability
I have spaces available for children aged 0-5.
I am available for before and after school care and can drop off and Pick up from:
The Abbey Primary School in Delapre and
Butterfly Pre School in Delapre.
I am also available for holiday care for children of all ages.

Lucy has only been our childminder for 2 months and my son loves her. He goes to nursery 3 days a week and to Lucy 1 day. He wakes up every morning asking if it’s ‘Lucy day’
She regularly takes him out for walks or to soft play and he has come home with crafts and pictures he has made.
I highly recommend Lucy if you are looking for a home away from home childminder

I wanted my little girl to go to a childminder, so that she did have too much structure and routine. I wanted her in a nurturing, homely environment as she was only 10 months old when she went into childcare. Lucy was the perfect choice, her home is set up really well with a fantastic play room and her home is welcoming and clean and my daughter is very settled at lucy’s home. Lucy provides a wide range of educational and therapeutic activities and outings which has been great for my daughters development. She loves lucy’s other minded children and lucy’s own children. They are all so close and mostly kind to each other! 😂 With lucy’s Moto being ‘Be kind!’ Lucy’s whole family are great with the children. And the dog Harley just thinks he’s one of the children and adores being around them, my little girl loves going on walks with the dog and Lucy. It really is like a 2nd home for my daughter, I can’t praise lucy enough. She is caring, welcoming and nurturing and my daughter adores her. I am pregnant with my second child and they too will be going to Lucy when the time comes for them to go into childcare.
