I am 34 and have been working closely with children and their families since I left school in 2005. I furthered my career by registering as a nanny in 2010, i then went on to register as a childminder in 2016, I ran a very successful business for 4 years before moving to northern Ireland
I am a very friendly, happy, caring individual, i love having fun and getting children involved in creative, fun activities!
Friends say I am a very bubbily, lively, and caring person with a great take on life!
Working with children is what I have always done and could not imagine doing anything else.
I am currently seeking occasional babysitting. I am available Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays.
My Experience
April 2012, until January 2013, I worked very closely with a lovely family with 3 children aged 3, 5, and 7. I grew very close with both children and parents and found it upsetting leaving when the youngest went to school. This was my first experience of being a nanny, I enjoyed every minute of it.
January till September 2013, I worked for 2 families. There were 5 children to care for ages were 2, 3 years old twins, and 6, 7 year old boys. I worked very closely with both families. The children and I enjoyed many adventures together, parks, walks, meals, museums, craft places, cinema, creating our own parties, weekends away, swimming, and so much more! I have built up great friendships with all the parents I have serviced.
Summer 2013/14/15 i worked in an Out of school club. Working with a big staff team trying to keep everything organised yet fun for children and staff. In the club we had up to 40 children per day.
August 2013 until Feb 16 i worked for a lovely family with 2 little boys aged 6 and 1, i worked for them Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6 o'clock until 9.
This role was alongside working as a childminders assistant from 8-5.
I registered as a childminder in 2016.
My business went from working alone with 3 children to having a full setting with staff and 9 children from 6 months to 4 years.
As a childminder, I closely monitored children's development to ensure they were ready for school. I built up a professional reputation by training staff to a high level, which provided an excellent service for the children and their families.
I moved over to Northern Ireland in the midst of the pandemic and became a nursery room supervisor in the Mulberry Bush Nursery Coleraine. this was until January 2023.
I am currently servicing a wonderful family in Ballymena with 3 children.
I moved to Portrush from Manchester (mainland UK) in August 2021.
