About Us
Fun Start Childcare is a preschool for children in Cannock, Staffordshire. It is well established having been in existence for over 30 years (formally under the name of Cannock Community Preschool). Our fully qualified staff are dedicated to providing the children with a fun, friendly environment in which to grow and develop in a positive and healthy direction. The primary method of learning for a child is through play. At Fun Start we provide a vast array of opportunities for your child to explore, experiment and discover via a wide range of activities, helping them to work towards government set early learning goals aided with the implementation of our key worker system.
We can be found during term times on weekdays from 8.45 until 2.30. Children of any nationality or religion between 2 and 5 years of age are welcome and we accept children in nappies.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £18.00 per morning
- Childcare from £12.00 per afternoon
- Childcare from £30.00 per day
We charge £15 for a 3 hour morning session, £10 for 2 hour afternoon session ( 12.30 to 2.30pm) and £25 for all day from 8.45 to 2.30pm. We offer 2 and 3 year old funding for your child. 30 hour funding and accept child care vouchers (Terms and conditions apply)

This is a great nursery. We have been using this nursery for a number of years for our children as it’s just round the corner and our kids love it. The staff are always very helpfully and connect well with the children. Our youngest who is currently there is always going on about nursery.

My Daughter has been attending Funstart since Easter 2016. She’s grown and developed tremendously during her time at the Pre-School. The staff are very friendly and attentive towards all of the children attending. I know Ava will be very sad to leave at the end of term. But with the continuous guidance and support she’s had over the 2 years, I’m confident she’s going to continue to thrive as she heads into Reception Class thanks to the great head start she’s had with Funstart!
