About Me
I previously worked for a large corporation within thier HR and Management Team. After having my two children, I decided it was time for a career change. I wanted a career which was fulfilling, something I enjoyed and would give me the flexibilty to spend more time with my children.
I started training within the childcare sector around 5 years ago. I have always had an interest in childcare and early years development. Initially I assisted in an after school club and volunteered with Homestart an organisation which assists families who have young children and require assistance establishing a routine with the child.
I completed my EYFS level 3 qualifications 4 years ago and became an Ofsted registered childminder just over two years ago. I have fast become a popular option for childcare in the Colnbrook /Datchet/Windsor and adjacent areas. My local school is Pippins Primary School & C of E Colnbrook school.
The children, the parents and friends would describe me as a happy, fun and approachable person. I am constantly striving to provide the best service I can for the families I work with, as you can see from my reviews, the families I work with have provided wonderful feedback, so please feel free to get in contact if you have any quieries.

My Experience
I have experience working with children of all ages, from diverse backgrounds and with different abilities. I continue to work with a charitable company in Slough (Homestart) which I have volunteered with, for 3 years. I have also gained experience working at an after school club in Whitton.
Over the past five years I have had the opportunity to work with many talented and wonderful children, watching them progress and learn, both through education and play, has been a great experience.
A great aspect of my role as child carer is that I am constantly learning and adapting to meet the needs of the children. I ensure the activities, outings and sports keep the children stimulated and entertained, this is achieved by varying the schedules throughout the term. It is also important for me to understand each childs preferences as no two children will enjoy the same activities.
My Qualifications
I have a degree from Coventry University In Business & Human Resources.
I have recently achieved my NVQ level 3 in childcare. I have completed all of the necessary first aid qualifications and am registered with Ofsted.
My last Ofsted inspection was on the 18th of June 2019 where I achieved a Good.
My Availability
Im available from 7am-17:30pm Monday- Friday. I am flexible with parents working shifts or those who need to drop the child before school to complete a commute into work.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Fees depend on the age of the child. I accept childcare vouchers and am registered for 15 & 30 hour government funding too.

Preet and all at LittleSimbas are warm and caring. My daughter spent a year with Preet, I wish I had found her sooner! My daughter loved her time with Preet, painting, colouring and many other activities.
Preet is very professional and really down to earth, very understanding and was willing to accommodate my needs when I changed jobs late last year. I’ve been with other childminders and Preet by far has been the most stress free experience for us.
I can’t thank Preet and team enough for all that they have done. Trusting someone with your child is a big deal - for me she made that process very easy. I would highly recommend Preet and Little Simbas to all!

Preet and her team have been invaluable and both my children have been very happy. Preet is very communicative and transparent which is a must for parents alike. We have been very happy with Little Simbas care and professionalism and would recommend. Thank you Little Simbas for keeping our Little Simbas cared for and happy!

My review overall is negative. My son was going to this childminder for 9months. Preet's mother was helping her to take care of the children, and due to her leaving the country for 3 months and herself going to diffrent job, we have been informed on the 28th January that she is closing down her childminding business in midd Feb. Which left us in shock and very little time to look for new childcare. As per her T&C we would have to give at least month notice, but this did not applied to her. The stress this has cost us I do not wish to any parents.
I'm glad I didnt write the review when she asked me few months ago, because now we can see the full picture.
Overall
My 5 years daughter has more than one year being with Preet, she is enjoying the time at her place learning lot of things and have lot of fun. Her family is amazing and the house is very clean and warm welcome.
I highly recommend Preet as a best childminder for our kids.

Preet and her family have been a great part of our son's development. Everyone is welcoming and warm, it feels like we are leaving our son with family. A great environment with lots of fresh air play. Feedback is noted in a development book, through WhatsApp and verbally at pickup so lots of opportunities for communication! They help us through challenges and offer a lot of support and comfort. Very flexible and accommodating which is key for us. Thank you immensely Preet and family!
