About Me
I am an experienced, enthusiastic professional childcare practitioner. Currently working part time having previously worked for Homestart in Suffolk supporting families as well as a Learning Support Assistant in local schools, a Nursery Nurse in a Montessori nursery and a Deputy Manager of a small pre-school prior to this, but am looking for part time work to fit in with my current position. I enjoy Zumba , crafts, walking & travel.
My Experience
I have over 30yrs experience having worked in Private nurseries, pre-school, creches and as a childminder and nanny in the past. I have NNEB, Montessori and SENCo qualifications as well as Makaton signing training up to level 8. As well as being a parent to two children of my own, now in their 20’s .
My employment experience has involved liaseing with parents and outside professionals to help support families as well as observing children in my care and planning fun, stimulating activities differentiated to enhance their learning outcomes in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
My Qualifications
NNEB, Montessori International Diploma, SENCo level 4, Makaton up to level 8, Elklan communication training, First Aid, Food Hygiene, DBS-( I don't have an electronic version of this to upload but can provide a paper copy at any interview as well as other supporting certificates of qualification), Working Towards positive behaviour, Autism diploma

Sharon helped us over the summer with our 2 month old and 3 year old. She's very easy to get along with and fitted in well with our family. She was particularly good with our baby. We will be using her as a babysitter in the future and would also recommend her to other families.

Sharon was amazing with our two little ones, 2 and 10 months, they felt so comfortable around her and didn't even notice when we slipped out! They fell asleep and did their normal routine and we were able to enjoy an adult night! Thank you so much Sharon, you are definitely my first point of call! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a babysitter in Ipswich.
