Im a DBS checked, Ofsted registered and self employed Nanny within Hampshire.
I’d describe myself as a fun, kind, responsible, reliable and confident 34 year old Nanny and I absolutely loves working with all age ranges.
I love making others laugh and love that no two days are the same when you're a Nanny.
My Experience
I have worked with children since 2008, starting off as a Nursery Assistant before working my way up to Nursery Nurse (mainly caring for the 6-18 month olds) and then Room Leader (of the 2-5year olds).
I began nannying back in 2013 where I nannied for two gorgeous children who I still keep in touch with now. Since then I’ve worked in various nannying/housekeeping roles and have gained so much experience and knowledge.
I offer ad hoc care, babysitting and nannying on a self employed basis.
I also am happy to offer overnights, proxy parenting and travel nannying.
I have experience being a Nanny and Nanny/Housekeeper, am a confident cook especially vegetarian/vegan. I pride myself on being open, kind, caring and fun. I try and be as flexible and accommodating as I can.

My Qualifications
I have been qualified as a Nursery Nurse since November 2009. My qualification is the CCLD Level Three in Childcare.
I am also qualified up to AQA Level Three in Counselling Skills, which I still practice.
I am paediatric first aid trained and have been on and regularly attend courses which aid my development as a childcarer.
I have recently started my BSL (British Sign Language) level one course and completed a Level Four in Perinatal Mental Health.

Our 4 month old absolutely loves spending time with Sammie. Not only does Sammie take great care of our son and is fantastic at entertaining him, she also makes the house feel like a home, which is a real treat to come home to. I couldn’t recommend Sammie more highly!

Sammie is an absolute joy to have around the house. She has built an amazing relationship with our baby girl since helping us out and we completely trust her with our little one. Sammie's also blended in seamlessly with our household - doing chores, keeping the house clean and tidy, and cooking whenever needed. Most importantly though, she's so kind and thoughtful to be around, it's been amazing having her so that we can get short breaks from the baby life! She even managed to involve our daughter in making her first ever Mother's Day card which was incredibly sweet 🥹 We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a trustworthy, caring nanny!

Sammie was intermittently with us after the birth of our second child. With two under two and dealing with a family bereavement, she unassumingly formed a gentle and close rapport with our children, whilst concurrently running the house, cooking and taking the mental load off me. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Sammie has been an absolute godsend to us. She has helped keep our boys safe and happy, introduced fantastic activities and meals and taken the time to properly get to know them. Even though she has moved areas, she still drops in to see us and even gave us a Christmas card with a voucher for a night of babysitting. She has also helped recently with my newborn completely free of charge so I could do my Christmas shopping. If it were possible, Sammie would wear a halo!
