Hello there, thank you for looking at my
profile. My name is Max Kalogirou and I am a 29 year old self employed award winning freelance male nanny. I am also a Dad to my daughter, who is 3, so I can completely understand the need to choose a flexible and reliable form of childcare from a parents perspective. I am currently looking for more ad hoc work in the daytimes and also babysitting work on weekday evenings and also in the daytime and at the evening at the weekends which would be for families looking for a consistent babysitter for the future (I have a vast amount of babysitting experience.) Also I work freelance, I am able to cover school drop offs and pick ups, as well as half terms, summer holidays and odd days off for families so if this could be of interest please do get in touch.
I am also OFSTED registered so can accept childcare vouchers. I am based in Molesey but I am able to travel to all surrounding areas within a 45 minute driving radius.
I have a fully clean UK driving license also.
I also have memberships for Hampton Court/ Wisley Gardens/ National Trust & Merlin Passes (Chessington/Thorpe Park/SEALIFE etc.)
My current availability is
Every evening after 6pm and full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
I can cover in daytimes with notice, preferably looking to fill the gaps I have above as much as possible!
I also offer travel nannying, wedding childcare, party childcare & christening childcare.
My availability during Summer/Easter/Christmas holidays and half terms:
Monday - Friday from 7am - 7pm. I offer school drop offs.
Full availability Saturdays & Sundays.
I have currently worked with children for 12 years since I was 16 and have done previous babysitting for numerous families at the nursery I currently work at as well as a number of families in the Surrey/Middlesex area.
I am a confident, trustworthy, outgoing and reliable young individual, who wants to offer the highest level of childcare and I also have a driving enthusiasm for working with children. I absolutely love my job and the rewards it gives me every day. I am incredibly passionate about the way I carry out my role also.
I am here to offer a completely different experience as well as a male babysitter who has a wealth of experience in the industry, I am very sporty and outdoorsy and love the job that I do. I have undertaken a level 2 forest school course to enhance my understanding and experience of outdoor activities. I love organizing different activities as well - I feel I’m a very creative person and different in the way I approach activities. I especially love doing arts and crafts and making slime - I would absolutely say that I am a specialist at making slime!
I have had SENCO experience, completing SENCO courses through my current employer as well as working with and for families of children who have SENCO needs, autism, ASD. I have recently completed a Level 3 SEN course also.
I would always like to meet a family first and have a chat so you can get to know me a lot better also.

I currently nanny for numerous families, with all different aged children. I work different hours that fit in well with my own needs and for the families, but at the moment I am working with children ranging of age from 6 months old up to 10 years old.
I worked in my first nursery in Weybridge since October 2012, starting out as a nursery apprentice and completing my Level 3 NVQ certificate in June 2014. I was the Room Manager in the Pre-School room (3 to 5 years old) and have been since March 2016, this was until March 2020. In the room we can have up to 32 children at one time. I have worked with children of all ages, from 3 months to 14 years old.
I have done numerous school pick ups as well for numerous families at the nursery and at different schools as well as taking children home and looking after them for a number of hours.
I have done daytime babysitting and nannying jobs which have differentiated from short hours to full days before on my days off and also have completed different amounts of hours during these days. I am able to cover ad hoc days during school holidays also.
I have completed overnight and weekend babysitting for families also. This is something I would be interested in.
Before I worked in a nursery I did children's parties at Sandown ski centre for around a year from the age of 16. (November 2011 till October 2012.)
I have a vast amount of babysitting experience, which began in January 2013 when I was 18 and would now love to further the amount of babysitting I currently do.
In our most recent OFSTED report at my nursery we received a level 1 (outstanding) from OFSTED from January 2018 my room, preschool, achieved outstanding as well.
I have also coached Little lions rugby on a Sunday morning in Esher - this consists of teaching 20 2-4 year old's basic rugby skills as well as gross motor skills and enhancing their physical development.
In November 2017 I completed my Level 2 Forest school assistant course as I absolutely love working in the outdoors also.
I have been trained in speech and language also and have helped a few children at the nursery I worked in with their speech delay.
I also did a small amount of work experience in June 2010 at a nursery in Hampton

My Availability
My current availability is as follows:
Daytime hours.
Monday - Friday 7-7pm.
Every evening after 6pm and full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

I only work for my nanny families term time only, which means I’ll always have availability in half terms/Easter/Christmas/summer holidays for full day care also.
Every weekday from 6pm onwards for babysitting.
Every Friday anytime after 6pm and on Saturdays and Sundays any time during the day or evening when needed.
I am available for overnight babysitting or full weekend babysitting also. I also offer childcare services at weddings/christenings and parties!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (net)
Evening babysitting fees for myself are from £12 an hour. This can be discussed/negotiable when speaking to or messaging myself. I am also OFSTED registered so happy to chat about childcare vouchers also.
Nannying fees are different to my evening babysitting fees.

Max has been a regular babysitter for my two sons aged 13 and 10 for a few years. They both really enjoy it when he looks after them. He has flexed his activities over time to ensure that they have remained fun and interesting as they have grown older.
We left them overnight with Max last weekend for the first time and he was absolutely brilliant. We had every confidence that the boys would be safe, well looked after and have a lot fun. My youngest just said 5 stars best babysitter in the world!!

Max has been amazing in helping with both my children. He has helped my autistic son engage with him after a really difficult year and he’s always happy to play whatever crazy barbie adventure my daughter is imagining. He is communicative, reliable, flexible and most importantly kind and both my kids adore him!

Max has looked after our little boy for half a day per week, starting when he was 8 months old (he is now 13 months). Even through some very clingy and teethy spells, our LO has always been happy to see Max at the door and they've had a lovely time together! Max has always made sure he was well fed, clean and rested.

Max has babysat for my 4 kids a few times now and has also done an overnight stay which went brilliantly! My kids absolutely love Max and have requested we go away again so he can come back. I felt very comfortable leaving the kids with him knowing they’d be well looked after. My kids ages are twin boys age 10, 8yr old boy & 5yr old girl.
