About Me
Hello! My name is Danielle, an experienced early years primary school teacher and now a registered childminder at Happy Start Childminding. I have taught nursery, reception and year 1 children for 9 years in two well respected, outstanding schools. I am responsible and caring, and love working with young children.
I live with my partner Pete and our 3 sons (born Feb 2016, June 2018 & July 2021). We have a garden with a play area and climbing frame and have a playroom in the house too. We enjoy visiting local parks, soft plays and play groups, and also have RHS gardens and National Trust membership so we can visit local attractions too. We also love visiting garden centres and libraries.
As well as currently working as a childminder, I am a trained and certified baby sleep consultant and coach, so please get in touch for sleep support for your little one :) I will provide you with a personalised sleep routine and support on how to implement this.
I am also about to start tutoring again as well, mainly on the weekends. I specialise in early phonics and reading skills, as well as maths basics. I am experienced in tutoring children aged 3 - 6 years. Get in touch for more information.

My Experience

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My fees for all day children include:
Breakfast, 2 x snacks including fresh fruit, water/juice, lunch, cows/soy milk, wipes, nappies, resources, local trips, daily diary, learning tracker to record your child’s progress and achievements.

Danielle was my sons childminder for 9 months and was just fantastic. The only reason she isn’t anymore is because we relocated but it’s going to take a lot to find someone as brilliant as her. It was very sad saying goodbye!
Danielle is patient, kind, supportive and all round wonderful. She was a sounding board for my son when my daughter was born and a friend to him going through the big change.
They had LOADS of fun (Barney always said to me “I had so much fun mummy!” As soon as I collected him). A lovely clean setting with a playroom filled with fabulous toys and lots of outings to playgroups and parks etc.
He settled quickly with Danielle and always looked forward to going to her house. He got on so well with her own children too and talks about them still. Such a lovely family we are so grateful for their care and miss them a lot! If you’re on the look out for a childminder, you’ve found her! 💖
