Previously an early years school Teacher for 14 years - both here in the U.K and in South Africa.
I have been caring/teaching as a registered childminder for over 17 years now, 12 of these while working with my husband who to is an Ofsted Outstanding registered childminder and minding for over 12 years. Together we open our home, care and raise our children in a safe, fun and loving environment so they have a "home from home" experience within a small group while they learn to grow positively.
Our home is large and set up beautifully for play and learning: with three separate reception rooms; lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to have fun. Large garden space, Large railway sleeper 6ft x 6ft sand-pit, Summer house/games/craft room to bottom of garden, a permanent tent, slides and outdoor toys etc etc
We do a lot of outdoor play/activities, forest walks in our wooded area on Fridays near by and craft/fun sessions each week with loads of photos to take home.
Two fully registered childminders at all times means routines are followed far easier, play can be supervised both indoors and outdoors to suit all. Attention to those that are needing allows others to carry on without distractions etc
We raise your children in a safe, fun and happy environment teaching care and kindness at every turn. Working closely with mums and dads, sharing daily on their journeys and getting them ready for "Nursery/school" while learning to write, potty train etc

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I would like to discuss this in private as dietary needs, times, pick ups/drop offs etc often change this. We accept all vouchers and help those who are eligible for funding.

Charene and Chris are amazing at their job and so caring for the children they look after.
Charene and Chris were my daughters first Childminder’s (aged 7 months) and made the process of putting her in to childcare and going back to work so easy. My daughter was always so excited to go, she was always doing fun activities, playing with her friends, was always well fed and was clean and very well cared for. They really made her feel part of the family.
Unfortunately we moved away, but we were so sad we had to take her out of their care and she loved it there. Even after lockdown and not being there for a few months, she settled back in so quickly.
Their own children are so lovely and my daughter adored them. They are a credit to Charene and Chris.
We are always grateful for the care our daughter received and how much she learnt and developed while she was there.
