About Me
Hi, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Rustington, West Sussex, with over 20 years experience in childcare of various types, including within Nursery setting. I live with my Husband and my two children and our two lovable cats. I live in a spacious home in a quiet close near to Summerlea CP School. The activities we enjoy include visiting our allotment in Rustington, where the children have their own section for growing and taking home their produce. We visit our Beach Hut in Rustington for our Beach based learning and make the most of our surroundings. We enjoy trips out to the South Downs, Woods, local parks, music time and story time sessions and much more. Usual working hours are 7. 30am to 5.30pm, however I am flexible and earlier and later times can be arranged as needed.
I hold a BA Hons degree, play piano and enjoy everything creative, fun and inventive. Learning through play is one of the most effective forms of educational development and having a good working relationship with parents ensures I know the children's needs.
A home from home setting with small numbers of children gives them the time to form friendships and progress their social development whilst not feeling overwhelmed.
We do lots of arts and crafts, sensory play and have a large garden with playhouse, slide, ride on toys, little tikes cars, scooter, bikes and much more.
Charging rates are £5.50phr per child, including snacks, drinks and trips out. I offer government funded places for eligible children aged 2yrs, 3yrs and 4 yrs. We include our home grown produce and a carefully planned snack menu which the children have input into each week. The children also enjoy picking our apples, pears, plums and cherries when in season so we can make our puddings together.
I am available for evening Babysitting if required.

My Qualifications
Educated to university degree level, I have returned to childcare work which I enjoyed for years previously. Qualified childminder, DBS, paediatric first aid trained. Ofsted registered.
My Availability
I provide full days, half days and before and after school care. Early starts and late finishes can be arranged.
I am currently full, however if anything changes I will update my profile accordingly.
I am available for evening Babysitting if required.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Childminding rates £.550phr per child, includes snacks, drinks and all trips. Evening & weekend babysitting rates are £9phr.

Amy has been looking after my son and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I completely trust her and I know my son is well cared for. Amy is super friendly. My son gets so excited when he visits Amy. He has been out on lots of trips and has done lots of activities that he has enjoyed very much. We woud definately reccomend Amy as she really is fantastic at what she does.
