Hi, my name is Helen, I am 50 years old and live in Chester.
I have worked as a nanny for 30 years
I have vast experience caring for new borns through to teenagers with alot of experience caring for twins.
I enjoy every aspect of helping children grow learn and develop through play and fun activities.
I have keen interest in arts crafts and love planning fun and exciting things to make and do. I am a book worm so im a regular at the library with the little ones and i am happy to attend activities ie tumble tots, music classes, swimming lessons at parents request.
I also have zoo membership so I’m a regular there too.
I like to think of myself as a quiet calm, fun loving, kind hearted with oodles of patience.
I am an animal lover, I have a dog and I love horses so a family with pets is welcomed.

I have been a nanny for the past 30 years.
I have also worked in pre schools and done resbite foster care.
I have children myself so have alot of first hand experience and know the challenges working parents face I have enhanced DBS I am paediatric first aid trained and fully insured as a private nanny. I also have many lovely references from the wonderful families I have worked for.
I am Car owner and my car is insured for business use.

Helen joined our family, started looking after our twin boys since they were 8 months old. She was with us for nearly 1.5 years. During this time, Helen not only ensured our twins' safety but also nurtured their growth and development. She engaged them in creative and educational activities, helping them learn and explore the world around them. Her patience and kindness were evident in her interactions with our children, and they quickly formed a strong bond with her. My 6 year old boy always wanted to spend time with Helen and enjoyed going to the Zoo with her. She was very punctual and willing to accommodate to our changing schedules most of the times. She even made food for our twins in her house- who always loved the sandwiches made by Helen. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of a caring and responsible nanny. Our twins will always cherish the time they spent with her, and we will forever be thankful for her support and dedication.

Nanny Helen was the best decision we could have ever made for our son.
If we could have brought her to Scotland with us when we relocated then we would have. Helen worked for us with our son from the age of 4 months to 3 years (and four months).
Every morning he would wait at the window for ‘Nanny Helen’s’ car to arrive and run to greet her at the door.
The adventures they went on were always individual, creative, exciting and unique.
From taking him to stimulating soft play and creating gorgeous crafts and paintings when he was under a year old, to growing with him and developing into adventures at the zoo, delamere forest trails to collect all sorts! They also went on adventures on trains and busses which he loved.
We could sing her praises all day, she was an absolute life saver for us around our unusual working patterns as well as supporting us through Covid and lockdowns.

Helen looked after my two daughters for over 15 years. They're now 14 and 16yrs and I can't speak too highly of the care, support, education and fun she has given them over the years. They now babysit her twins and she'll always be an important part of their lives.
As parents, we wanted a nanny because we worked long and not always predictable hours. Helen was really flexible and reliable and always managed to work together our girls' needs and those of her own children. In fact they all see themselves as 'sort of cousins'!
I know many parents think they can't afford a nanny. We found that averaged out over the years it was significantly cheaper (as well as easier and better continuity for the girls) than nurseries, after school clubs etc.
I'm more than happy to speak on the phone or meet anyone who's thinking of employing Helen and sharing our experience. Looking back, I can't imagine what we'd have done without her!
