About Me
My name is Laura Butler, I run Laura's child-minding service.
I am 38 years old, I am married to Mark; we have been married for 17 years and we have a daughter called Millie, who is 14 years old and attends Secondary school, a 6 yr old boy called Aaron and a 4 yr old boy called Alex.
We moved to Inverkeilor from Fife in May 2019.
We have a dog called Diesel and a cat, Gismo along with 9 chickens, 3 pygmy goats and 2 resident pigs.
(All the animals are excellent with children and are gentle and good natured; the dogs have their own room so interaction with the children is always supervised.)
This is a non smoking house.
My aim is to work in partnership with parents for a smooth transition and ensuring to meet all the children’s needs on a day to day basis.
I will provide the children in my care a safe, caring, nurturing, stimulating and fun environment where they will feel loved and respected.
My Experience
I am a qualified child minder and have 18 years of experience working with children and families.
I am also trained in delivering the Solihull parenting approach, ASD awareness, safeguarding children, child protection and many others (please ask to see certificates)
I hold a level 3 (advanced) in GNVQ in health and social care and hold a CACHE diploma in home based child care.
I am a currently studying a BA Honours degree via the Open University in Health and social care, specialising in children and families.
I have a full driving license and car which is insured for business use, I am also a member of the SCMA (Scottish child minding assoc), and have been inspected by the care inspectorate.

My Availability
Limited spaces available for both part time or full time, school drop off and pick up's for all year round or term time only contract, for all ages.
My normal contracted hours are from 7.30am-6.30pm; I can work before and after these hours; but this will be classed as 'out of hours childcare'
Currently do school runs to Inverkeilor Primary; am available to do local nursery/ pre school runs, following discussion.
