About Me
Hi, My name is Nicky, I have been an Ofsted Registered childminder since 2002.
I am happy to offer both Full/Part time hours for children aged from three months to eight years and above.
I provide a fun and happy environment for the children to play and learn in and attend various local play groups, soft play areas, local parks and Willows farm on a regular basis, as well as playing at home. I have a large secure garden with a dedicated play room with lots of toys and equipment.
I am fortunate to have a close network of childminder friends so the children in my care have the opportunity to socialise daily with lots of other children and form friendships.
I have four children of my own my youngest is now 15 and my eldest is 26. I live close to King George Playing fields and am happy to collect children from local schools, playgroups and nurseries.
I operate my childcare setting within a family friendly environment and everyone is treated with the same respect and attention and encouraged to participate in activities that assist with there learning and development milestones.
We have a very family friendly pet Goldendoddle named Archie. He is a predigree and fully insured and vaccinated. He has anti allergy fur which doesn't shed and all the children in my setting love him dearly!!!
I work within the early years foundation stage and ensure the children play in a stimulating and fun environment so they can learn and develop at a pace that is comfortable to their needs. I keep a daily diary so parents are able to see all the fun things we have done during the day and make a note of any exciting achievements or milestones your son/daughter has achieved!!!
My Experience
As a mother of four children and a registered childminder for over 20years, my experience has been gained from a hands on approach on each individual child's needs as well as continuous training throughout my career as a childminder.
I have completed the latest level 3 diploma in childcare and young people's workforce which involves studying the development of children from birth to age 19. This qualification supersedes the NVQ3 course and involves a lot more detail and study.

Nicky has been looking after my 5 and 9 year old for the past 4 years. Full time and in school holidays. They both enjoy the outdoor fun that Nicky provides. They are very rarely indoors. Visiting parks and play groups. Getting involved in a number of activities with other childminders/children
Nicky has helped improve my eldest confidence and my youngest has grown into a very confident little girl and settled into school life very easily due to nicky's approach to childcare.
If you want your children to enjoy down to earth outdoor fun then I would most definitely recommend nicky

Nicky has had my two lively boys for the last 2 years. Nicky is very friendly and very helpfully with every situation that is thrown her way. My boys sees Nicky's as a second home and loves to go and spends time with all the other children Nicky cares for but also Nicky's own family.
My two boys loves going on outing which Nicky does on a weekly basis and they also enjoy mixing with the other children when they go to playgroups and parks.
I think that I have been very lucky to find not only a Childminder but also a friend who I have every faith in to look after the most important things in my life my children.
