About Me
Hello, my name's Emma i'm a single mom and I have a 9 year old daughter that I have raised alone. I have 21 years experience working with children in various settings. I am currently in search of another position of nannying as the 2 children I have had the pleasure of caring for, for 6 years, will soon no longer require my services.
My Experience
In my experience I believe all the children I look after need an array of stimulus in order for them to thrive. I enjoy encouraging the children in my care to participate in sensory play, playgroups to socialise with other children, playtime outside, crafts and creativity work in order for them to flourish into their own personalities.
I started working with children as soon as I left school as it was always something I wanted to do and that has never changed. I have worked in soft-play areas whilst I was studying my NNEB. Over the years I have worked in nurseries, pre-schools, worked as a nanny and then when I gave birth to my daughter in 2009 I became an Ofsted registered childminder.
Since then I went back to Nannying as the hours in the position I was in was more suitable and sustainable fitting around the care of my daughter.
