About Me
Hi all, I am an Ofsted registered & insured childminder based in POUND HILL,CRAWLEY.
School age vacancy: September 2024 operating from Milton Mount School.
Under 5 vacancy : I will have a vacancy in September 2024 when my current children move up to school. At the moment it is likely I will have a vacancy for an over 2 year old during the last half of the week.
I am a flexible friendly person and enjoy working in partnership with parents and making the children happy. My day is all about the children :-)
I live in a 3 bedroom house just off Haywards in a quiet cul de sac with a good sized garden. The bus stop for route 4/5 is at the top of my road, Three Bridges station is about a 20/25 min walk and I am well situated for Gatwick Airport & the industrial estate. I have areas in my house for playing, eating, arts, crafts & baking as well as a separate lounge where the tv & computer are situated. I also have cosy beanbags and cushions for quiet time, reading and cuddles.
I have books, toys, equipment, resources & activities for all age groups and we have seasonal themes during the holidays. We visit local parks, woods & the library - I am within walking distance of the local park and duck pond which we visit most days. We also play out in my garden regularly. I like to provide a warm, friendly, safe homely environment with a family atmosphere where your child can play, learn, develop or just relax with a cuddle :-D

I reguarly work with another local Childminder so our children can spend time together. I am also registered on the Forest Childcare scheme which promotes children getting outside and exploring the natural world on a regular basis rain or shine. I drop off and pick up from my local school on a daily basis which is Milton Mount School, the little ones are part of this and look forward to seeing the schoolies. I have been re-inspected by Ofsted and have achieved a Good in my setting.

My Experience
I have been childminding since July 2010 and have 7 nieces and nephews. I have regularly helped out at the local school and am known in the local pre-schools too.
My Qualifications
I am GCSE and A Level educated. I have a certificate in Paediatric First Aid, have attended Safeguarding courses and have passed Unit 1 for the Diploma in Introducing Home Based Childcare. I have also achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and a Level 2 in Food Safety. I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY). I have finished and passed my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. I also worked throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.
My Availability
My hours are 8am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday (5.00pm on a Friday) and I am also available for care during the school holidays. I drop off & pick up from Milton Mount School only on a daily basis.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Please contact me to discuss requirements - I offer a daily rate and an hourly rate. I am registered to accept the Free Entitlement for 3/4 year olds, funding for qualifying 2 year olds and the new 15 hour Government funding as it is introduced. I am registered with the Computershare Voucher Scheme, Edenred Voucher Scheme, Kiddivouchers and Sodexho Voucher Scheme as well as the Government's Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

Both of my daughters aged 3 & 8 are looked after by Vicky and I cannot sing her praises enough. It puts your mind at rest knowing they are well looked after and having fun whilst you are at work. There are always lots of trips out and fun activities to do. All of the children that attend ABC get on so well together. We love you! XX
