I’m Jackie I’m 35yrs old I have 2 daughters aged 14&11. Both my girls are very much involved in our local community in Wigston doing, guides, rangers, after school activities. I provide childcare Mon - Fri. I'm open from 7.30am and I close at 5.30pm Mon&Tues. Weds & Thurs 5pm and 4:30pm on a Friday. During school holidays I open at 8am and close at 5:30pm Mon & Tues. at 5pm Weds & Thurs and 3pm on a Friday. I currently charge £4 per hour. I am fully qualified and registered with ofsted as a good outcome in my last inspection (April 2018) I hold all my necessary qualifications and insurances to be a childminder. As well as a full DBS check.
I am also a qualified guide leader for girl guiding UK through this I have worked with a wide range of children of different ages and abilities. I also have experience in volunteering in our local pre-school.
It is my aim to ensure that I provide your child with a safe caring and fun learning environment. I ensure that your child is made to feel loved, cared for and a valued member within the setting. I will always care for their individual needs.
I have an extensive selection of toys and equipment for all ages including from birth and toys are regularly swapped around to provide continuous stimulation and interest for the children. We visit playgroups and other groups throughout the week. Also I am always on the lookout for activities happening in the local area. I will discuss regular group costs with parents/carers as this is not always included in my hourly rate. I provide free play where children can choose as well as specific led activities linked to EYFS requirements.
I take all types of childcare vouchers and I am part of the tax free childcare government scheme as well as a Leicestershire funded provider (free15/30hr) I accept all forms of payments except cheques. I can provide children with all drinks, snacks, meals for school aged children, these are not included in my hourly rate. Or children can bring their own food. My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2016 and have vast knowledge and experience with all age groups and abilities.
My Qualifications
I hold my CACHE level 3 award in ore paring to work in home based childcare (QCF). I also hold my TQUK level 2 in understanding autism. Full up to date paediatric first aid. DBS . safeguarding children certificate. food and health safety registered. ICO registered. As well as other completed trainings such as food allergy, I have qualifications in supporting children with speech, language and communication needs and more. Icontinue to do training throughout the year to continue to improve practice.
My Availability
September 2023- I currently have availability for school holidays for school aged children. I also have before and after school places. I am available for Meadow Community Primary School Wigston Pick up and drop off and Meadows Preschool Pick up and Drop Off only. Please contact to discuss this.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
£4 per hour. Siblings £3.50 per hour.
