My Summary

My Experience

I am currently working for a lovely family with 2 children who I have been working with since September 2017. Over the years we have enjoyed spending our time visiting local groups, soft play centres, playgrounds and farms; as well as enjoying time at home doing crafts, reading stories and playing board games. Both children attend school full time now, so this role is only in the school holidays.


Previous experience prior to my current position:

September 2019 - August 2021 & September 2020 - August 2021 - 2 roles working as a PA for separate families who have children with additional needs. Both roles were both very different to each other, but they involved responsibilities such as PEG feeds and other personal care, as well as just having fun and creating a stimulating and engaging environment.

September 2019 - March 2020 - Working with a family 2 days a week in addition to my main nanny family. My role was to take their 2 year old son out to soft plays, toddler groups and walks in the woods so that the mother, who was pregnant, was able to rest and get prepared for the new baby. Once the baby was born, I occasionally accompanied the mother, older child and baby to the child's music class so that the mother was free to enjoy the class with her child, while I was near-by with the baby in case she needed breastfeeding (alongside my original role of having sole care of the 2 year old).

September 2015 - July 2017 - I completed my first nanny post with a family with 3 children, who I cared for across 2 years, 3 days a week. A glowing reference from the parents is available on request.


My mother was a childminder for 20 years, since I was 5 years old, and this has therefore provided me with great practice of looking after children from the age of 6 months and a great knowledge of the activities and individual care that they require.

While I was at university, I looked after 2 sisters one day a week (age 4 years and 18 months) for a few months, after my mother came into ill health and was unable to look after younger children.

I also regularly babysat for these 2 sisters, along with another family of 4 children on many evenings over a 3 year period.

My Qualifications

Health Studies BSc - I was studying for my Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) degree, but due to ill health in my final year I was unable to complete my studying and so I graduated with a degree in Health Science.

I finished college with a Triple Distinction in Health Science BTEC and a C in A2 Biology.

My Availability

Weekdays during school term time only, as I already have a position during the school holidays.

• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
