Hello, my name is Lisa!

I’m generally a happy person, reliable, patient, affectionate and caring. I’ve been either helping or looking after children for as long as I can remember and that’s where my love for children grew. People who know me would describe me a very much a ‘child person’.
I aim to make the parents of the children I look after feel at ease; I can understand how hard it is leaving your child with someone so I make sure I ask questions, make a note of everything and follow their instructions so that I’m looking after the child/ children to their standards. My job is to make sure the child and parents don’t feel any separation anxiety and the child/ children’s happiness and safety is top priority.
Overall, I’d say the most important thing to me when it comes to any childcare job is developing a good relationship with not only the children in my care but with the whole family. I’m still in contact with all the children I’ve looked after and their families. I still babysit and visit the families from time to time.
My Experience
I am very skilled in supervising and caring for children of all ages from newborns (premature babies included) - 13 year olds. I have over 13 years experience and this includes as a nanny, night nanny, weekend nanny, holiday or flight nanny, proxy parent and also some experience as a maternity nurse. I have some teaching experience and have completed my PGCE. Also, taught in a year 2 class for 9 months.

My Qualifications
I have been looking after children since 2007 starting off as a babysitter to part time to full time nanny.
Postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) degree 2022.
I have 6 months solid live-in nanny experience looking after two little girls (6, 9 years old and their 1 year old cousin).

Lisa was a night nanny for us looking after my twins. Lisa joined us when the babies were 3 months old. They were premature and had complex needs. Lisa came and literally saved my life. She brings with her years of experience, dedication and commitment. Lisa is friendly, organised, operates to the highest standards and has an overwhelming sense of calm. She can cope with challenging situations and adapts to the needs of the family. She is flexible and supports the families needs. Lisa supported my breastfeeding journey and adapted to the changing feeding requirements of both twins. Both twins suffered from reflux, stomach issues and allergies. Lisa was amazing and nothing fazed her even when both babies were awake. She did everything to give me as much sleep as possible and supported me during emergencies and illness. Lisa was wonderful with my babies and an amazing support to me. Experienced, reliable, kind, calm and the perfect nanny for any family.

Lisa has looked after my children as both a babysitter and part-time nanny. She is extremely friendly, reliable and organised. My children are very fond of her. She always makes children feel safe and cared for and does a range of activities with them. She also provides a balanced and healthy diet. I would absolutely recommend Lisa as nanny for children of any age.

Lisa was our Nanny as part of a Nanny Share for 2 years before our youngest child went to school and she went traveling for 12 months. She was always great with the children, providing good care and a balance of activities. The kids loved spending time with her and would always ask 'is it a Lisa day?' and be happy when i said yes. Lisa would cook good meals for them and always carried out the nursery duties i asked her too. Lisa is very kind, organised, reliable and punctual and was also a great help to us around the home as well as taking good care of the kids. We keep in touch with her and will be inviting her to do occasional babysitting and visit us once she is back from traveling. I highly recommend her.
