Hi, my name is Becca and I am in my early 30s. Over the years, I've worked as a nanny and babysitter for 7 different families, with children ranging from 18 months to 11 years.
My Experience
From June to August 2020, I was a nanny to two children, aged ten and six. I looked after them four days a week, helping with school work and entertaining them during the school holidays. I worked with this family again January - March 2021 during the winter lockdown.
I have experience of babysitting children age 1 year and above, as well as groups of siblings. My experience also comes from working with children through local schools and organisations, both mainstream and special needs. I have experience of working with young children who have dyslexia and those who are on the autism spectrum. I have also worked with children who struggled with reading and writing skills.
My Qualifications
I have recently completed my master's in Publishing, having studied English with Drama as an undergrad. Through employment, I have received training on safeguarding children, first aid, epilepsy, and asthma.
I have an enhanced DBS check that allows me to work 1-on-1 with children and vulnerable adults.
My Availability
I would prefer to meet beforehand and require a minimum of 24 hours notice before working.
I have a full drivers license and my own car. I have an enhanced DBS check.
I am currently available for the summer holidays from Tuesday 27th July 2021 onwards.

Becca has been a babysitter for my children over the past year, and has also done babysitting for our church group where she would watch about 15 children with the help of another sitter. In both settings she has been great. She is very professional, calm, polite, and reliable, all around what you want from a babysitter. We have a large family, with 6 children ranging from 10 years to 18 months and she has babysat all 6 children with no problems- so she is very capable of dealing with children of all ages, and able to multitask well. I highly recommend Becca.
