About Me
Hi I offer Childminding services to families in Denny and the local area. I am a married mum and have two boys (14 and 16). Milly Molly Mandy's Childminding provides children with a safe, caring, warm, nurturing and stimulating home from home where children can play and learn. I provide a range of activities/experiences that are appropriate for your child’s age/stage of development so that they can reach their full potential. Outdoor play is promoted in my setting as most children love playing outdoors exploring their surroundings and environment. We spend time in my garden, trips to the parks, woods, beaches, and meeting up with other childminders. Visits to local toddler groups, soft play, sports groups and centres are some of the things we do. I live in a large detached 4 bedroom house in Denny with a separate play room in a safe cul-de-sac with a park just metres away and playing fields and woods nearby.
My Experience
I am a registered Childminder currently looking after six children in my care. I work for Stirling Council on supply as an early childhood educator on a Friday. I am working in partnership with Falkirk Council to deliver the 30 hours free childcare for all 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. This means that parents have the CHOICE to use their 30 free hours with a childminder or nursery or a blended approach of both to suit their child’s needs.
My Qualifications
I have an HNC in Childcare and Education. A current valid Paediatric first aid certificate and child protection. REHIS elementary food hygiene. Covid-19 awareness and hand hygiene training. SCMA training- introduction to Childminding. I have attended Building the Ambition training, completed child development, child accident prevention, an awareness of child abuse and neglect, introduction to health and safety at work and fire safety E learning courses. Other training that I have completed is child-led planning, developing children's self-esteem, working with ADHD and the autism spectrum. I plan to attend course's / training that will benefit the service that I provide in the future.
My Availability
I am available from 8.00am - 5 pm Monday till Thursday. Hours outwith these can be discussed. At present I have full and part time spaces available.
