About Me
Hello, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I'm looking for some part-time baby-sitting jobs in Cardiff over the school holidays and weekends. I was a supply teaching assistant and have worked in many primary schools in Cardiff. I now am a full time teaching assistant but I’m still looking for babysitting work in the evenings/ weekends and school holidays. I enjoy working with children and have a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. I also have an up-to-date CRB/DBS.
I’ve also had my 2 doses of the COVID vaccination and my booster.
My Experience
I have a wide range of experience working with babies and children up to year 6 (age 11), although I am qualified to work with children up to the age of 16. I have occasionally worked with secondary school age, mainly whilst working as an invigilator at exam times. Before becoming a teaching assistant, I worked as a nursery nurse for a private company, working with babies from 6 months old up to pre-school age. Before embarking on my college course, I did some voluntary work at my local primary school for three weeks, working with reception to year 2. I am able to meet the needs of all children.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education at Grade A. I have also undertaken further training, such as read, write inc, makaton, food safety level 2, safeguarding, kerbcraft and first aid.
My Availability
I'm a teaching assistant full time so I will only be available in the evenings to babysit. If you're interested I'm available from 5.30 onwards in the evenings.

Sarah is a reliable babysitter, she looked after my two boys whilst I was attending a conference. They liked her very much and enjoyed playing and doing activities with her.

I have been in contact with Welshy on several occasions. Welshy is trustworthy, helpful and down to earth, our daughter really enjoyed being with her. She is also very flexible. I will contact Welshy in the near future when I need babysitting or more. 100% recommended.
