Exciting news Little Rainbow childminding has moved to Spalding ,my well established Peterborough childminding is now in Spalding.
I am full at present I will have 1 space available from September 2024 please feel free to contact me for more information About a space for your child and an informal visit .
I am a Fully registered childminder recently Graded GOOD ! I am offering a warm home from home setting with lots of natural wood toys .
I am currently training to become a forest leader as love the outdoors and how amazing it is for the children Your child will have lots of trips out to groups and adventures in our natural environment with lovely opportunity to learn through nature .
I will follow your child’s likes and ideas and plan activities and set up which are relevant to their own Interests in that moment !
All toys are easily accessible for the children to make there own choices ! I follow the Eyfs so will track and will help your child use there Interest to develop next steps in their development
My Experience
I have over 25 years looking after children I have always since college looked after children it’s been my chosen path all my life .
My childminding setting has been full with waiting lists while in Peterborough for the last 3 years , I am moving my setting l to Spalding and will have spaces available in a warm exciting setting and have had lots of previous happy children who have grown and been a big part of my childminding and their family's have given me lovely written reviews which I happily share with new families as you need to be comfortable knowing your child is with the right childminder ?
Part time nanny Peterborough looking after a 20 month old boy alongside my own same age son which worked very well and boys are best friends and have both benefited from the share .
7 year nanny share caring for 4 children under 5 in London
9 year nanny job overseas with a lovely family with 3 boys aged 10 months , 3 years and 5 years at start
May 2016 3 week booking
2week old premature baby boy working 24/5 . I helped establish a good feeding routine to get baby to gain weight and also set a good solid routine for the day and night and had baby sleeping well and waking for set night time feeds .
4 week baby girl March 2016 (4 week booking ) 24/6 maternity nurse care for a lovely baby girl . Establishing a routine that was gentle and troubleshooting get the baby get out of a 2/3 hour nightly colic/crying period and establishing a good nighttime sleep . Helping mum with breastfeeding and offering her help and support and making sure mum has a cup of tea . I took care of all aspects of her care over a 24 hour period always making sure she was very clean and well cared for and happy as well as sterilizing and all nursery care and baby washing and ironing and helping out with meal times and older sister when needed
5 week old baby from July to August 2015 I helped mum establish a baby led routine and gave advice and help on night time sleeping , I was able to guide mum how to full understand her newborn and to feel comfortable with bathing and letting baby self settle . I allowed mum to catch up on some much needed sleep and baby also who was only sleeping very short daytime naps but soon was having good long daytime naps at regular times.
5 week old baby (6weeks days and nights ) help first time mum establish good feeding and sleep routine as well as gentle guidance and help with bathing a newborn and recognizing different baby cues and feeling confident.
3 month old and 5 month old share working days establish good day time feeding and naps and weaning .

I have been very happy with my little girl going to Emma’s. Until then, she had only ever stayed with me, but Emma has been really great with her. She’s patient, always listening to the little one’s needs, very gentle, and offers a variety of activities, games, and a lot of outdoor time. Emma is very understanding and always does her very best to accommodate everyone’s needs. I am very happy with our experience with her and would very highly recommend her service.

We have been working with Emma for the past 20 or so months. She looked after our son with her own same age kid that worked really well for both boys. Emma has extensive experience as a Nanny responsible for raising up multiple babies, toddlers kids etc. Emma was recommended to us as she returned to Peterborough and we were quite fortunate to book her. She is very passionate about her role and always brings new toys/things/activities for the boys. Emma will make sure that kids are treated gently and also learn how to behave amongst others. I would recommend Emma any day and I am happy to provide further information to whoever might need it
