About Us
Established in 1992 Into-Play Nursery soon became a market leader and as the child sector has grown it remains top of its field.
Our first site, located in Longlevens had a great reputation for being one of the most sought after largest nurseries in Gloucester. In 2023, Managing Director Karen, made the difficult decision to sell this site due to health reasons, and since March 2023 the Longlevens site is now under new ownership.
Into-Play Ltd is now "Intoplay At The Quays" and "Intoplay Barnwood"
January 2013 we opened our site located near the picturesque Gloucester Docks. Into-Play at The Quays' popularity has been soaring ever since its opening, and has gone from strength to strength. Parents find it ideally placed when travelling from Quedgeley, Westbury, Hartpury and surrounding areas as it’s just off the main road through from Westgate to Hardwick and 5 minutes from junction 11a or 12 of the M5.
Into-Play Barnwood opened its doors in October 2015, and we are delighted that the nursery is going from strength to strength. Recently being acknowledged for being in the Top 20 Day Nurseries in the South-West. Located in the old Doctor's Surgery on the corner of Elmbridge/Barnwood road, we are excited by Barnwood's ongoing success and rapid take up in childcare spaces.
The motto of Into-Play Ltd is "Love, Laugh & Learn" and the testimonies written by parents bares witness to this. We are very pleased that both our nurseries received a "GOOD" judgement from Ofsted in 2022 (Quays) & 2023 (Barnwood).

Really didn't want to send my little boy to nursery at all and looked at a few but got the best feeling from Intoplay. Now that he goes there 2 days a week I know I made the right choice. He loves going and the staff are fantastic! Highly recommended
Overall
Both my daughters have attended Into Play - aged 2 and 4 years - and both girls adore their key people, their friends and the general setting. I am very impressed with how all of the staff know every single child's name and takes the time to chat or play with them no matter what else they are doing. This is my favourite nursery having used 3 ones now, the girls will be staying there until school.
