About Me
My name is Debbie and I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a member of Pacey.
I am married and have grown children and young grandchildren, I have a full clean driving licence, my car is fully insured to include business use, taxed and has a valid MOT certificate, therefore I will be able to transport children to/from School and take them on outings.
My childcare premises is also my home it is situated in Hooton which is central to and within easy access to Liverpool, Birkenhead and Chester and the surrounding districts such as Ellesmere Port, Neston and Bromborough.
My house is set in substantial sized grounds, some of which has been fenced off as a large garden with plenty of space and provides a safe and happy environment for the children to play. Parking is available for some cars on my drive. I am approximately a two minute walk from Hooton railway station which also has park and ride facilities, the property is also situated close to motorway links, Blue Planet Aquarium, local parks, the Wirral way, Eastham forest, and rivacre valley are just some of the local facilities and attractions that are within either walking or driving distance from my premises. there are also the Liverpool museums such as the maritime and world museum just a short train ride away.
Activities that might take place during a typical day could be: story telling and reading, role play and dressing up, baking, creative activity such as painting drawing and craft, we will also be going on outings such as the zoo, parks, childminding drop-ins, library, toddler groups ect.
My Experience
I have nine years experience as a Ofsted registered childminder, I have regular contact with other childminders within the local community offering socialisation with other children.
I have experience of 37 and years as a parent of two children, I also have grandchildren which I have on a regular bases.

Debbie is everything you would look for in a childminder. She genuinely loves babies and children and this shows in the way she cared for my 2 year old daughter Franceska and of course the other children she looks after.
She has a genuine interest in helping her children to learn and progress and carries a gentle authority that means that the children respect her and want to please her.
She is often out and about with the children and structures the day well, with different activities at home, She taught my daughter sign language and lots of other things
She is very approachable and good at communicating with parents as well as children. I have found her entirely reliable and trustworthy. On the very rare occasions that she is unable to work, she will always arrange cover with another childminder with whom the children are familiar.
I was so lucky to have found Debbie and treat her as a friend now.
