About Me
I am a mum to 2 beautiful children a 17year old daughter and a 14 year old son. I’m also happily married.I have always worked with children since leaving collage. I have over 20 years experiance and have worked in day nurserys, nannied and now I am an ofsted registered childminder and have been for the past 12 years. My ofsted repot is ‘GOOD’ My own children are both in full time school.
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, cooking and we enjoy outdoor play along with walks trips to the parks and outings.
I have a ready equipped playroom for lots of fun and activities as well as a safe enclosed garden.
I do also have a dog. He’s 2 years old a black Labrador who we’ve had since he was 8 weeks old and he’s fantastic with the children in my care.
My Experience
I have 6 years experience in a day nursery. I have also done nannying, which i did for 4 years for the same families and only left as I was having my daughter but I did the school runs, tea, afterschool activities and had lots of fun. I now work as a childminder and I am really enjoying this too.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 and a certificate in childcare and Education. I also hold an up to date first aid certificate and a food hygiene certificate. I’ve also completed my safe guarding training and various other online courses.
My Availability
I have 1 space for a 1-3 year old on a Thursday 7.30am to 4pm
I also do holiday only care as well as term time only care.
I’m not open on Fridays
I don’t do any nursery or school pick ups and drop offs apart from my own children as I find this way I can spend my day with the children in my care and keep to a good routine.
