Highly competent and enthusiastic professional Nanny with considerable experience in the childcare profession, with a keen interest in the educational development and raising of babies and young children to help them grow into kind, independent and confident individuals.
I am passionate about children learning through experience, whether that's through play, activities at home or getting out & about for walks and social interactions. Children undoubtedly learn and develop the best when they experience things themselves.
I am DBS checked (which is on the update service), am Paediatric First Aid trained and have many excellent references.
I have also recently qualified as an STA Baby & Preschool swimming teacher.
My Experience
Over the past 31 years i have worked in various different childcare settings including Private Nurseries, Creches and now, over the past 18 years as a Private Nanny which is what i enjoy the most.
My experience includes responsibility for children aged from birth right up to 13 years of age.
I have twin experience- working with 4 different families with twins of various ages, and also good and recent experience with newborns.
I pride myself on good knowledge and understanding of child development and use this expertise to help them to grow and develop into happy, secure, independent individuals.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB qualified.
During my years within nurseries, i have been a section supervisor and a student co-ordinator which involved training students from schools and colleges in the profession of caring for children.
I have a full clean driving licence, DBS check on the update service, Safeguarding training, and First Aid certificate and relevant Nanny Insurance.
I am also an STA qualified swimming teacher.

I have known this nanny both professionally and as a parent for approximately 10 years. She is highly experienced, kind, friendly and fantastic with children. If you need a nanny, then she comes highly recommended. She provides highly educational and exciting activities for the children, is a great cook, a skilled organiser and will be an asset to any family.

I have known this nanny for the last 2-3 years and she has done quite a bit of babysitting and ad hoc childcare for us looking after my 2 children who are now aged 9 and 3. She is an extremely experienced nanny who I would not hesitate to recommend to another family. She is very friendly, easy going and professional and my children love spending time with her
