About Us
Quality, nurturing childcare and early years education with qualified educators, in a caring home environment. We offer childcare for all ages from birth to 11 years with flexible contracts to suit your individual circumstances. Early Years daycare, before and after school club and holiday club also available. We offer 2, 3 and 4 year old funded places, accept childcare vouchers and are registered for the government's tax free childcare scheme.
It's lovely to meet you! My name is Emma and I am a degree qualified, level 6, Early Years Educator as well as mummy to my 5 year old son. As Director of Little House Childcare and Day nursery, I work with my team of Educators, Emma Louise, Heather and Jen, and we also have our two trainee educators, Georgia and India. Together we make up the fun loving team here at the little house.
We offer early years education in a safe, happy and stimulating environment with the familiar comforts of home, including healthy, home cooked meals. My team and I are all paediatric 1st aid trained, food safety and hygiene certified, and fully DBS checked. We hold full UK driving licenses and are appropriately insured.
My fellow Educators and I are all wonderful mothers and this coupled with my experience and all the continued professional development training that we all regularly undertake makes us a knowledgeable team.
We are an enthusiastic, reliable, organised, honest team with a flair for fun. Our little bungalow setting is completely childcare orientated with a purpose built play cabin and lots of outdoor space fully prepared for early years education. We offer fun learning opportunities with activities to encourage development in all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. We track your child's progress along the way with a safe online EYFS development tracker software that is remotely accessible by parents.
Despite the current pandemic, we are open and doing our best to keep all the littlies and their families safe that attend our setting. We have undertaken awareness training, implemented safety measures to encourage social distancing and increased our cleaning schedule in light of the pandemic.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £25.50 per day
- Childcare from £127.50 per week
- Childcare from £515.00 per month
Our fees are:
£4.25 per hour (6hrs + session).
£4.75 per hour for short sessions, before and after school and holiday care.
All fees include drinks, snacks and meals.
We use an online EYFS development tracker that is remotely accessible by parents. I charge £5.00 per child, per month to cover the cost of this.

Our 17 month old transferred from a chain of nurseries after we were unimpressed with their service. Emma and her team have truly cared for our boy, whilst encouraging his inquisitive nature and letting him explore the HUGE little house and garden, mixing with a range of ages. The team are friendly, approachable and genuinely spend time getting to know not only our "littlie" but also us as a family. We love the detailed daily diary app that keeps us in the loop, and know that they are hitting the early learning goals but in a relaxed and child-led setting. I am confident at work that my little boy is safe, active, fed and loved at Little House and he'll 100% be there until school. It speaks volumes when he bounces in every morning, and I have to coax him out to go home! Thanks Little House!
